Did anyone else watch the pilot? Thoughts? Apologies if there was already a thread. Caught it tonight, definitely looking forward to the episode tomorrow night.

I watched the pilot last week and I will be returning to the show tomorrow night. Donal Logie is one of my favorite actors in the biz and an FX show is tailor made for him. I am also a fan of Renee from True Blood his Terriers name escapes me atm.
The pilot itself did very well of introducing these characters and showing us why we should care about them. As well as set the tone for what seems to be the villain of the season/series. I am excited for the next episode

I caught the premiere and am a fan of Donal Logue, but I wasn't overly impressed. I just felt like it fell a little flat like it was too funny to be serious, but too serious to be funny if that makes sense. I'll likely tune in tonight, though, and see if it gets any better.

Since the creator of The Shield (My favorite TV show of all time) is a writer? of the show, I had to check it out and it's not bad imo. I look at it to be like a "poorman's" version of The Shield minus the violence.
