I'm sorry if this seems disrespectful. But I was looking at a list of wrestlers who have passed away and there's a few on the list that I had no idea about.
Playboy Buddy Rose Steven Dunn from the tag team Well Dunn Ernie Ladd Alfred Hayes Mrs Cleavage

I didn't know Tony Halme had passed away until about 2 months ago. I thought he only died like 2-3 months ago. One for the other side of the coin, I constantly forget that Dynamite Kid is still alive

His whole life is just a textbook example of how a life in pro wrestling will be the end of you yet he of all people is still alive :s

I had forgotten about Buddy Rose dying. If it wasn't for this site there would be a few of the more obscure wrestlers I wouldn't know about dying.

Someone on a video site had an Umaga match, and I was thinking how great it would be if he joined Usos back on Raw... took me a couple minutes before remembering why that can never happen...

I thought up until his induction into the hall of fame in 2006 that Tony Atlas died in 2000.

I always forget that Hayabusa is still amongst the living.

I've talked to people who as recently as last month didn't know that Umaga had died. And the Sears Essentials (basically a fancier K-Mart) store near me still has some of his action figures and a "bop bag" of him.
And there's a surprising number of fans who aren't aware that Test died.

For some reason I always get Lex Luger and Curt Hennig mixed up, and I think Curt is alive and Lex is dead.

I heard about John Kronus's death in 2007, but it surprised me once again this week when I saw him on a list of dead wrestlers. Sometimes I also try to remember which member of Public Enemy died, and I get even more sad when I realize that it was both of them.

I got a lot of "didn't he die?"s when I was reading my Bret Hart book in public a few months ago. I get that alot too. I've learned to answer with, "nope, that was his little brother" Because 9/10 they're thinking of the news stories they saw about Owen year ago.

Miss Elizabeth and Sensational Sherri.
Two great managers, valets, what have you. Both died of drug overdoses. Both highly unexpected. I think Sherri died around the Benoit scandal, I don't recall her ever getting a tribute on RAW or Smackdown either. I was completely gutted when I found out, especially since only two years before she sung with Kurt.

I think Sherri died around the Benoit scandal, I don't recall her ever getting a tribute on RAW or Smackdown either. It was also the middle of the "Vince's fiery death" angle and that played a part in the lack of a tribute. Why acknowledge a real life death when you can play up a fake one?
