I love TNA, I really do, but after re-watching last week's Impact all I could think when Anderson took the medal was that this fude was going to end with a pole match. I hope I'm wrong, as pole matches usually aren't that entertaining IMO, but I have a strong feeling that this can happen. Anybody else thinking this is the route they will go?

If there's anything that's been proven in wrestling, it's that Vince Russo loves sticking shit on poles and making guys fight for it. So yeah, it's a possibility.

To be fair, the last few pole matches I remember seeing happened in WWE.
I'm not sure if that would be a worthy enough match to end the feud to be honest. Just a straight up 20 minute wrestling match should suffice.

They'll finally book the long-awaited Pole on a Pole Match.

How long has it been since one?
Almost a year i think.
I remember Mick Foley vs. i think Kurt Angle for the keys to the office or something
This match may or may not have happened and i dreamt it up.

How did they end the Benoit/Angle gold medal feud? Just a straight match for it?

How did they end the Benoit/Angle gold medal feud? Just a straight match for it? 2/3 falls, last fall was a ladder match.

They'll finally book the long-awaited Pole on a Pole Match. .. and naturally they will sign Ivan Putski for the titular role. He's a former WWF/E champion and just the right age too!

Yeah, the whole "Russo loves pole matches" thing is blown WAY out of proportion, other than the FoF matches, the only pole match they've done in a long while is the Foley/Angle Key's on a Pole match & I believe that was the highest rated segment of that show.

Ultimate X (at Destination X) with the medal up there (instead of a stupid red X or the belt) might suffice.

Beer Bottle on a pole was in 2009 correct?
I reckon it'll be $20 on a pole in the main event. The stipulations are as follows:
If Hogan grabs the $20 then he buys a share in WWE and makes himself part owner of both companies.
If Abyss wins he uses the money to ride the rollercoasters with Mick Foley all day, only to be swerved and have Mick staple it to his head.
If Flair wins he keeps the Mike Rotunda off his back for one more day.
If AJ wins he takes Flair and the girls out for gator nuggets.

I agree that one was freakin terrible, just like the whole feud, I was just saying that some people act like he has pole matches all the time, when in actuality other than FoF they're pretty rare.
