So I took a gamble and ordered Summerslam today. My cable company advertised Orton, DX, Rob Van Dam, Edge, Cena, and Rey Mysterio.
So, if that's right, RVD will be taking on Big Show at Summerslam.

I hope that Show interferes in the Triple Threat and then it's a fatal four-way at Summerslam
It would be a way better match.

Yeah, I figured it would be Sabu Vs. Show up until this week's show. With Angle and RVD back (presumably) full-time, I get the feeling WWE will blow their wad and put all 4 in a title match at Summerslam instead of continuing with the already-established Sabu-Show feud and just having RVD and Angle feud with eachother or somethign for the time being.
Oh well, maybe it'll be a gimmick match at SS like a Ladder Match, that could be good.

What are the chances it'll be a fatal-four way ? I think they'll do this because the ECW brand might only get one match on the entire Summerslam show. So the best way to promote ECW would be to put their 4 "biggest" names, Show, Angle, RVD, and Sabu, in that match. PS. I still don't think a lot of the WWE marks are intelligent enough to accept Sabu as a bad-ass maniac. They all probably view him as a middle-eastern terrorist that they should instinctively boo. Not totally their fault, it's what Vinnie Mac has conditioned them to do. (and for the record, Sabu is listed as being from India... not a middle eastern country)

Well there's a ladder match for the number one contender this week between the three, so the only way for us to get a fatal fourway (or fourway dance!) is if Paul E. plays the evil GM role and if Sabu wins the ladder match he adds the other two to lower Sabu's chances of winning the title.

Well, if anyone, it would end up being RVD challenging for the belt because he would probably draw the mkost money doing so. He's a guy synonymous with ECW who has also always been hugely over in the WWE. Kurt isn't ECW, and Kurt vs. Show has been done to death over the years, so I don't see that match happening. Sabu is a possibility, but I'm not sure he's over enough yet with the E crowd in Vince's eyes. He's getting there, but I think they should give him a slow burn rise to the top.
An ECW style four way dance(elimination style with extreme rules) would probably be the best way to go. Especially since Taker/Khali has evidently been dropped, it would give ECW a longer time to work with, and would also showcase their top four guys. So, I think that would be the best way to go. Hopefully that's how they do it...but if it's just going to be one guy they have to choose to go at it with Show, I'm sure it'll be RVD.

Sabu v Big Show & RVD v Angle is my guess, I was really hoping for Punk v Angle but ah well it'll happen someday.

Punk/Angle should be saved for a big feud. If they are serious about Punk's push, it should be a long feud maybe starting around December and leading into WM, culminating in a match there where Punk goes over. If they play their cards right and Angle is willing to give him the rub, that could be a career making feud for Punk.

Not totally their fault, it's what Vinnie Mac has conditioned them to do. Vince could easily solve this by putting together a Sabu video set to his theme with crazy footage of him from ECW and Japan, barbed wire matches etc. Like they did with Foley years ago.
