A couple of years ago, Young was nothing more than a comedy relief character, what with getting scared at the fireworks and the Supehero Justice group or whatever that was called. Now I can actually buy EY as a legit threat and wrestler, I really like what they are doing with him now. Anybody else liking what they're doing with EY?

I like it too. I think Nash is playing a big role in helping EY get over. Say what you will about Nash, but his choosing EY over Hall and 6Pac has made EY more credible in my opinion. (If Nash turns on Eric at the PPV, I'll retract that statement ) Nowadays Super Eric is all but forgotten, and I am glad to see that. I have no problem with comedy characters, but I just never found Super Eric funny. (I did find Curry Man funny, so I guess there's no accounting for taste)

He's better in this role than leader of the World Elite.

Nah. He's always bored me. Seconded. If he woulda been endeavored after jobbing to the nasty boys and going to pity city I wouldnt have cared. I seriously see nothing special about the guy at all.

I haven't seen him since the World Elite stuff but I got tired of him as Super Eric. I wanted him to go on a good tag run at least.

Dark Knight era Joker styled Super Eric could work. As long as his catchphrase was: "E,Y, So Serious?"

Ya know what?
I say go a different route - have Young stab Nash in the back. Sure, it makes no sense, but he's a better heel anyway and it'd still make more sense than Nash doing it.

I like his new run, along with Pope and Wolfe he's been given a big push lately and done well with it.

I like what they're doing with him. When Bischoff said about him "There's another name I won't remember tomorrow morning" on that one Impact, I was worried that he'd get buried. But after that, Hogan sort of put him over (if you can call knowing who he is and going over his resume on tv putting him over), and since then he's been booked to look strong against Hall and Waltman. He's only lost to those guys when they've double-teamed him. He's not amazing in the ring like a Styles or a Daniels, but he's good enough, and he's got good mic skills.
If he continues to team with Nash after Destination X, it helps him. If Nash stabs him in the back at the PPV and Young winds up feuding with Nash, that can help him too...provided he gets a clean win over Nash at some point. (I haven't been following TNA for very long, so can anybody tell me if Nash has become more willing to do jobs in his old age?) If Young stabs Nash in the back and becomes the new leader of The Band or Wolfpac (way better name, assuming Vince didn't get the rights to it when he bought WCW) or whatever, then that can also help him. In that case, even if he doesn't get a clean win over Nash he can get a buttload of heat from feuding with him.

He's basically been one of very few people that can take pretty much anything TNA has given him and make it work. They would be wise to not forget that, because he is probably a long term investment if used well.
