I thought it was pretty awesome. I like wrestlers with creepy gimmicks. I wonder why they gave him that background set though, and not do anything with it? Maybe he will get a talk show segment.
And OJ's new music is definitely one of the best TNA has ever done in my opinion.

Haven't read the whole thread but was anyone else disturbed seeing him descend from the ceiling wearing caution tape like Owen's Nation of Domination outfit? I thought that was sick.

I think suggesting they were being offensive to Owen is over-analysing just a bit (and by a bit, I mean a lot).
I kinda like it. It's better than having the blandest man alive just turn up and beat main-eventers for no reason.

Letting Vince Russo loose with an openly bisexual character..... potential train wreck, or the greatest thing ever.
I honestly see this being Wrestlecrap.

I'd say how it's been one segment, but the facto fht ematter is it's:
1) Prerenial punching bag Orlando Jordon 2) in a gay/bi gimmick that doesn't involve two women making out.
Honestly, if it was Hamada's new gimmick, we'd have people saying it's the greatest angle of all time, and I'm going by the Mickie/Trish feud logic here.

Maybe he's one of those 'abstract artists' or something. It's not finished. . . . . . it's finished I'd mark for this gimmick. That said at least OJ's trying. it could be a really good, unusual gimmick. And the theme music's awesome, TNA seem to be finally moving away from crappy WWE knockoffs/midi riffs.

it would be nice to have a gay or bi character that isn't a ridiculous stereotype.

to me it looks like they are going for a cross between Goldust and Lady Gaga which I think will work.
I know some people are already saying it will win Gooker of the year but I say give it some time. I mean who ever would have thought back in 1993 that Dustin Rhodes could pull off such a bizarre gimmick?

I can just see this getting turned into a Bischoff/Russo lets push the envelope to the limit angle..... IE Jordan and his lovers reenact the Edge/Lita Live Celebration..........

I still think it's ironic that they have caution tape with "Cross The Line" written on it.

I think it was supposed to be a play on the Traci (or was it Trinity?) photoshoot, where her boobs were covered with police/crime scene tape.

Trinity and Possibly the same guy, were supposed to be the WWE cast for their interpretation of this angle.

If Mickie had come out and been like "HI EVERYBODY IM A LESBIAN! LOOK AT ME!" and had an entire segment dedicated to nothing but her going to sit in a room with two other people then I really don't think people would've enjoyed it. I don't think the problem is that its a bisexual gimmick, the problem is how its been handled so far. Very, very half assed. I doubt they have any clear storyline/direction for him other than "LOOK HE'S BISEXUAL!" and exploiting that for cheap heat.

Really, I never heard the words "gay" or "bi" associated with Jordan on TV, just "strange" and that was cause of his big entrance from this week. The only real reason we know he's not trying to be something like John Morrison is that this is something he's been going for since the tail end of his WWE run.

The symbol above the bed is a sign of bisexual pride. He was wearing make-up to imply femininity. Come on, it was pretty obvious what they were doing.

No mention of him being bi-sexual? Aside from everything else, the bi-sexual pride flag was behind him on his mini-set thing.
This was anything but a subtle segment.

I get the symbol, but Daniels wore similar makeup for some reason when he was going after AJ's title. Think Morrison did the same. The point I was making, though, was it's not like what happened with Rellik or Suicide, where the announcers were telling you repeatedly what he was.
