I don't remember the West Hollywood Blondes being that homophobic or anything, just that the network didn't like it. Anyway, I'm watching Raw, so I checked out his entrance and I like it. He reminds me of Goldust when he started out in 1996. Sex will always be a controversial subject in society, and I think OJ's gimmick is intriquing, especially since a bi-sexual gimmick has never been done before. I've been listening to Bill Behrens talk about the gimmick and how it maybe negative for OJ's career and there may not be too many places to go. However, I think the way the gimmick has been presented so far is a good take off of the many Adrian Street/Goldust type characters in the past. The only reason the West Hollywood Blondes failed was because of the chants of the British word for a cigarette and TNT not wanting those chants on the air during the time when TNT was going extremely family friendly.

I guess the crowd did hate it as reported, because it didn't go anywhere.

I guess the crowd did hate it as reported, because it didn't go anywhere. I don't think it really was suppose to go anywhere, just be all mysterious. And if they hated it, They would have taken it out and put something else in the time it was on. EDIT: Also, anyone with gif skills, can I get a gif of Mike and Taz doing the WTF faces at around 1:04?

I'm digging the music. The gimmick has potential. I want to see what the fuhell happens next. Also, as much as I hate Orlando Jordan, as long as it means that music gets to play, I'm all for it.

Did he cut a promo afterwards or did he just come out and sit on his couch and watch the show?

That was cool. Like people have been saying, it's seems sort of Lady GaGa-esque. Maybe I'm just more relaxed with what gets shown on television. It's not like he descended from the rafters in Blue Blazer's outfit. But a lot of those YouTube comments are in poor taste, as always, hell nice to see it transitioned from what looked like something too outlandish into something outlandish but unique.

I love the theme. I also like the Lady GaGa comparison. Could be interesting if done right. Could also be incredibly offensive. But we'll see...

I noticed the little kid who offered out a hand for a slap and the adult with them who had an awkward look on their face wondering "And why is this happening?"

Well, it's something. It seems a little forced in the post-Goldust era, but at least OJ's trying to define himself beyond "JBL's former henchman".
