John Heidenreich said in a shoot a while back that he hated Road Warrior Animal. I can't remember what the exact issue was, but I think it had to do with Animal trying to bury him with management, something like that. He also said what other WWE wrestlers have been rumored as saying, which is that Animal's hiring was a big joke to a lot of people who felt he was only being hired because he is the brother of the guy who hires the wrestlers.

Ax and Smash were very close for years but grew apart at the end of their partnership in 1990. During Ax's solo shoot interview (in 2006, before the Demolition reunion), he alluded that Smash was a backstabber, and stated that he told Smash right after their Survivor Series 1990 match, "so long Barry, this will be the last time I talk to you." That was Ax's last WWF match, and Ax and Smash did not speak to one another for nearly 17 years following that event. Both men now attribute their differences to a lot of behind the scenes miscommunications and pot-stirring by WWF personnel. Didn't Owen once say that he and koko never really got on. Not like legit hated each other, but just weren't pals outside the ring? Yeah, Owen said that in WWF magazine in 1993. He said that he didn't have anything personal against Koko, but that they weren't friends and have different lifestyles. So was the WWF really trying to break them up once they got the Road Warriors?

I remember hearing that Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson didn't like each other at all. And I can understand why certain tag team partners hate each other. Those tag teams of the 80's where pretty much married together...eventually your gonna get annoyed with the person or hate the person.

Nope. Vader had apologised profusely to Foley over it and the only thing that got to Foley over the incident was that WCW failed utterly to capitalise on it. They retained a fairly healthy relationship. You're getting the ear incident confused with the time Vader knocked out foley with a powerbomb on the cement floor. Vader would have no reason to apologize for the ear incident. Foley called for the hangman spot and the ropes were to tight. Neither man's fault in the least. The powerbomb on the concrete was a planned spot too--both times it happened. But anyway, Mick had no problems with Vader other than that he refused to travel with him on the road.

Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow teamed in Japan, and I seem to remember hearing that they didn't really get along. I don't know if that was actually the case or not. Someone more up on the Japanese scene might know. Yes, Bam Bam confirmed this in the shoot interview he had.

I think a big part of this was the fight over the rights to the name. Smash wasn't willing to enter into a prolonged fight and turned down Ax's requests to help him. Years later, Ax is still going at it with WWE, while Smash in his shoot was more complimentary of Vince and the company.

I heard that William Regal didn't care much for Bobby Eaton when they tagged as The Blue Bloods IIRC, Regal says nothing but nice things about Bobby in his book.

I know they weren't exactly tag partners but The Godfather didn't get along with Stevie Richards while they were in RTC.

They retained a fairly healthy relationship. For the most part, Vader's a big teddy bear. He was inconsolable when he thought he'd paralyzed Joe Thurman. Yep, my dad always talked about him crying backstage that night.

Ron Simmons said in his shoot I just watched that he and Butch Reed didn't really get along too much.

"ECW made up that Mustafa was constantly getting arrested"
Fun fact: The tag titles were given to the Dudleys at Hardcore Heaven '97 because Mustafa (champion) was in jail.
The Gangstas seem friendly in recent shoots together, despite New Jack insulting Mustafa in previous shoots (probably because New Jack will shoot on anyone for money).

I heard that Shawn O'Haire and Mark Jindrak didn't get along a few times during their time in WCW. I've heard this too. I heard that is why they split them up and put Jindrak with Stasiak and O'Haire with Palumbo. It's kind of too bad because I thought they made a really good young team. They were both almost the exact same height and weight.

So was the WWF really trying to break them up once they got the Road Warriors? We can only speculate why certain WWF parties were stirring the pot, as neither Ax nor Smash elaborated. Ax just said that he believed Smash was a backstabber due to erroneous information that was being fed to him by WWF officials. A big part of the miscommunication was whether or not Demolition was going to go to WCW, or stay in the WWF, or become different WWF characters. Ax was upset because believed Barry Darsow went behind his back and ignored Demolition to stay with the WWF as another character, leaving Ax and Crush to figure out what to do with Demolition. However, Smash stated later that he left the team at the time because the WWF had made it clear that Demolition was history. So you have Barry Darsow packing his bags because he believes Demolition is done, and Bill Eadie and Bryan Adams being told that Barry went behind their backs to start something else outside of Demolition. Ax stated that all of this was cleared up as the lawsuit for the rights to the name ended in the mid 2000s, and his reunion with Smash happened shortly thereafter. I think a big part of this was the fight over the rights to the name. Smash wasn't willing to enter into a prolonged fight and turned down Ax's requests to help him. Years later, Ax is still going at it with WWF, while Smash in his shoot was more complimentary of Vince and the company. See above. You're right though, Smash actually still is more complimentary of Vince than Ax is, mainly because Smash didn't step up and fight for the name the way that Ax did, which left Ax and McMahon with slightly bad taste towards one another. They've done a duo shoot since, well, a few actually, and Ax reached an official agreement to be able to use the name. Yeah, Ax and Smash have done two shoots as a duo, one in 2007 and another in 2009 (their solo shoots were in 2006). Ax won the litigation against the WWF and now owns the name/characters of Demolition.

I never said Mustafa NEVER got arrested, but a lot of the "arrested" reasons Mustafa missed house show loops was made up to seem as such.

By this point is New Jack even shooting any more? If you paid him he'd 'shoot' on Ed 'Strangler' Lewis.
