OK, I know big girls are not everyone's thing, but after seeing Impact tonight, all I can say is... God... DAMN!! I'm hooked on her! I love seeing big women being sexy, even if it's in an exaggerated way. Show some love here. A LottaLove!

I'm not terribly hyped over what I've seen so far, to be honest. While stuff happens in the ring, she did injure my favorite character. And her match with Roxxi seemed poorly coordinated. The burlesque look is fine, and even the name I can tolerate. But the performance hopefully will improve.

I just figured it out!
She's a plus-sized woman wearing lingerie, right?
I would bet anything this is Vince Russo's way of satirizing the recent Lane Bryant lingerie ad controversy.

My biggest issue might be her voice, as she still has a pretty grating accent, but it works for her character, and I know I'll get used to it.

That's the name they came up with for Betsy Ruth?
Wow, and I thought that the NXT names were bad.
Ah well...still lovin' the BBW! ;D

Definetely an interesting character, IMO not super great in the ring right now but Rob Terry improved somewhat so anything is possible.

Two of my favorite things in one big beautiful package. I guess I have a new favorite Knockout.
And the young lady in my sig may possibly be in danger as well.

She's a beautiful woman and she looks great in those pictures despite the makeup job. Makes me think it's supposed to make her look bad. She already looks bad being a part of this horrid product so there's nothing more they can possibly do to make her look bad.

I also think she would have been put directly in a program with Kong and possibly Hamada. *SIGH*

I'm not into big girls at all but I'm surprised at how smooth she is. She was showing a lot of skin and I didn't see a trace of cellulite.

Am I the only one who thinks that if this was the "old" Knockouts Division that she'd have come in as Betsy Ruth? I don't doubt it for a second. I also think she would have been put directly in a program with Kong and possibly Hamada. *SIGH* That's one thing I loved about the Knockouts division in their pre-Russo glory. They actually did resemble a "female-themed" pro wrestling organization, like the LPWF during their (all-too-brief) heyday. And that's why Betsy Ruth would have been better. That character strikes me as more fitting of the over-the-top, "every competitor has a day job" era that I will always associate more with pro wrestling than the modern day "more dramatic MMA" variant. I know Melissa Anderson openly rebuked Wrestlelicious on her Twitter account, and I'd never deny anyone (from fan to industry member) their opinion, but I think she's missing a key point: For all the corny WOW/POWW-esque comedy segments that Wrestlelicious features, they also have some moments of actual pro wrestling on the card, and by pro wrestling, I mean "larger than life characters engaged in a realistic-looking martial art with dramatic overtones". Laugh all you want at the recent episode which featured the "Lunch Ladies", replete in white aprons and tights and wielding spatulas as the "Dreaded Foreign Object(tm)", but their subsequent run in and beat down more closely resembled actual "female-themed" pro wrestling than anything the 'E has done in the post-Stratus era or anything that TNA has done in the Bischoff era. That's why I'm willing to give Betsy/Rosie a reprieve until later weeks. If TNA continues to press the "burlesque" aspect of her gimmick, I'll be more than happy to go along for the ride. My SO had a father who was a British Commonwealth mining engineer, so she spent quite a few of her childhood years in the Canadian Yukon, and she immediately recognized (and positively chuckled along with) Rosie's Can-Can gimmick. If it turns out that Bischoff was only thinking "hey, let's get a slutty female to get the coveted 18-34 M 'Chubby-Chaser' demographic", well, then I rescind my positive feedback. But yes, given a choice, I'd have the pre-Bischoff Knockouts play host to a female Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz, except the difference being that this woman was a legitimate looking threat and not a jobber-unto-the-stars.. Anyways..
