Kevin Nash defends BTLS
From NoDQ:
I guess one jackass would defend another jackass.

Apparently Kevin Nash is one of the nicest and most liked guys in the TNA lockerroom. It seems like the only people who still bash Kevin Nash are people who never worked in TNA at the same time as Kevin Nash or Cornette.

Whether he's racist or not, he still doesn't belong in TNA.

In my view Nash has always been as much of a disease within the industry as Hogan, Bischoff, Russo and Hall. The only reason Nash tends to get a pass while the others don't, with the boys and the fans, is because he is so skilled at playing everyone. Not because he is any less of a harmful bloated bloodsucking non contributing parasite. Just that he is a clever, funny, intelligent, hell even likable parasite but still in the end a parasite.

Just cause Nash wants people to ease off hating Bubba doesn't make him a jackass. Defending him as a person and defending him as being on Tv are two different things.

I have not heard anything about Kevin Nash being a good guy between the Kliq and WCW. It has been well documented that HBK has changed, but I didn't heear anything about Nash.

Whether he's racist or not, he still doesn't belong in TNA. He's only at most as racist as Kong herself. What other conclusion can you draw from him using the exact same word in the exact same context to describe the exact same person? He's clearly not a good fit in TNA, I'll grant that.

I think that in WCW and in WWF with the Kliq Nash has been a guy who has thought of himself and his spot (And his friends spot) ahead of the company and was willing to politic his way to get what he wanted. However with TNA (Since 2006) to me Nash seems like a guy who has gotten older and has stopped caring about his spot and is more interested in getting guys over and just being involved in the industry. All in all I don't see how anyone can really hate Nash's work in TNA.

He probably was lied to about being fired, as I heard the interview, and while Bubba was being a dick, I think he was saying it in a more mocking sense then being racist. I think they just wanted an excuse to get rid of him.

Nash is a guy who miraculously hits all the IWC's rage buttons. He's like Hogan, Triple H, Vince Russo, and Khali all rolled into one.
All of which, naturally, makes it completely irrelevant that by all accounts he's a likable, pleasant guy who doesn't seem to hold any grudges against anyone he's worked with.

I'm sure you could say that about pretty much every one of those folks though. Just because they're nice and cool on the outside doesn't mean that they are the same on the inside. Not everybody wears their true feelings on their sleeve. The only person, after all, who can really tell what someone is thinking is themselves. Everybody else is just going on hearsay.

Nash probably has a point. Bubba makes fun of stereotypes on his show, but I don't think he actually hates black people.

Racist or not, BTLS' continued harassment of a former employee was uncalled for and warranted his release. I was indifferent to his presence on TV up to that point, even agreeing somewhat that Awesome Kong was partially in the wrong for punching someone out in the locker room. But that he kept goading her and provoking her afterward made it go too far.
I get it, he's a shock jock. Not everything from the 1990's has to be kept around. Even though he's not a lucha wrestler that ties his moves together, I still like Nash overall. I just disagree with him wholeheartedly.

If I could have found the photo of Vincent, Wrestling Superstar (the one where he's sat at a photo session/autograph signing, with those words on a banner in front of the table, or above his head, I can't remember which) I would have photoshopped Nash over Vincent and "BTLS Fan Club, Member's Annual Meeting" over the banner.
But I can't find the pic, so I haven't.
