Anyone attend the TV Taping last night held at the Galaxy in Santa Ana?
Old UPW stomping grounds there... I wasn't able to make it, just wondering how it went.

I've seen results posted, but that's it. Not really any mention of angles, promos, etc.

does anyone know if they will put it up on youtube? I don't expect it to last very long. They already tried this like a year or two ago. The NWA is just so disorganized right now it isn't even funny. I'm almost convinced that Pearce is running the majority of the NWA which is probably why ROH let him go.

I'm almost convinced that Pearce is running the majority of the NWA which is probably why ROH let him go. They never finish their storylines. Such angles include: - Brent Albright owing Adam Pearce and Vanderpyle a "favor."
- The feud between Pearce and Blue Demon Jr.
- According to kayfabe, Oliver John is still in possession of the physical NWA title belt. (Blue Demon "holds"/held the red belt.)
- Vanderpyle's "not Horsemen," featuring Pearce, Hollywood and Vine (Joey Ryan and Little Guido) and some other guy whose name I'm forgeting.
- Anyone who is supposedly on a "reign of terror" (Phil Shatter, The Skullcrushers, Muscle Gang, Terex).
- Quack as Light Heavyweight champ. Does he even defend it anymore?
That's all I can think of at the moment, but I know that there's more. And one more thing: There are NWA promotions in places other than Texas, California, Florida, and Wisconsin, yet for some reason, Pearce and the gang don't seem to realize this. NWA Anarchy, for example, has only one representitive in the "national" company. NWA East/PWX (a personal favorite) has no one. Deversify the roster... It might help you in the long run.

There was an NWA Charlotte here in NC for about 5 months before they ran out of money.

There was an NWA Charlotte here in NC for about 5 months before they ran out of money. Which was followed by NWA New Beginnings, which ran shows out of the Hilton Hotel. They ran a couple shows, then suspended hings until finishing the "Future Legends Cup" tournament at Fanfest. So I don't know if they're back or if it was a one-off kind of thing.

I downloaded the August EWR data, and was surprised to see that the NWA was taken out of the game. I know the current NWA is a shell of its former self, but, after reading this, I'm surprised that it's still around.

They are using the SoCal NWA affiliates for this show, instead of just rotating around like NWA Showcase did. I like it, since I'm in SoCal and am familiar with each of the promotions (my favorite being M1W, but that's besides the point). I know they'll have it up on their official site www.nwahollywood.com/I just don't know when.
