Clash of the Champions all the way, daddy! I always enjoyed SNME during its heyday, but usually I wasn't able to stay up late enough to watch all of it (considering I was in elementary school at the time). That's the reason that Hogan would go on early instead of the main event like one would assume, so that all the little Hulkamaniacs (I did not follow the Demandments, then or now) could see him before bedtime. The Clashes, however, were in primetime, not to mention being promoted and booked like a ppv and just generally hyped all to heck. COTC always felt like a big deal to me as a kid, whereas with SNME, I usually wasn't dying to see any one particular worker or match. (And let's not forget all of the awesome subtitles they used to have like "New York Knockout", "Dixie Dynamite", "Fall Brawl", etc.)

Both were great. I can still remember; as a youngster, forcing myself to stay awake, just so i could watch SNME. That takes me back.

EASY...the Clash of the Championionionions.
IMO, Clash of the champions 1-29 were the best

While the wrestling was usually better on Clash of the Champions, I still have to vote for Saturday Night's Main Event. I don't know how to explain it, but they were just more fun to me.

SNME just because the intro interviews made you want to see the show.

Clash of Champions. It was on when I was awake and the matches always seem better.

I'd ove to vote for the clash but production made the difference. If Dick Ebersol dosn't make Vince use his directors and clean up the shoot for the first SNME, than I don't think wwf does as well in TV as soon as they did. It was slick, pretty, the sound and lighting was great. The clash had huge matches but SNME was the total package

Clash, easily for me. I always preferred the NWA product, not only the in ring, but the presentation. I liked the fact that the NWA shows weren't as highly produced as the WWF shows. It worked for the more serious, athletic approach that the NWA went with, just as the highly produced presentation worked perfectly for Vince's "entertainment spectacle" approach.
Plus the first Clash had Flair and Sting in the 45 minute draw. I cannot in good conscience vote again the Clash, even if I wanted to.

Clash. I was a WCW kid through my grandfather. Though living near NYC my father saw more WWF stuff because they were closer.

I liked the stripped down, 60s style production of the NWA territories; in contrast, i enjoyed Vince's modern, slick, over the top spectacle. We (the fans) actually got a choice.

That's something I'll always love about being a fan during the '80s. I could choose between several styles of in ring action and overall presentation. I enjoyed it all, and because there were choices, I never got sick of any one style. That came later.

I'd have to say Clash just because I saw more of those. The SNME were always on late and as a kid, my parents wouldn't always let me stay up that late. With the Clash of the Champions always being on during prime time I was able to watch them. Plus they did feel like PPV's with all of the big cards on them. I remember when Big Van Vader debuted on one of them. That was huge.

I can't without feeling dirty vote against the Clash. A show in New Orleans that gave us the near sixty minute two out of three falls classic between Flair and Steamboat is just something you can't pick against.

Clash of the Champions ... and it's not even close for me. (And that's coming from someone who's not even hating SNME. In fact, I did like it quite a bit.)

i voted for clash, even though i've seen more snme. i think clash was just what wrestling should be.
i think it would be good if TNA started doing something similar. (well, i guess they're going to....)

CLASH!!! I liked SNME, but no matches compared to what the Clash offered.
