Same here. That is one of the all-time hottest crowds I can ever remember. If someone wants to know what the "Road Warrior" pop is, a good place to start would be when Animal comes into the match. I'm also very fond of the '89 match. '91 and '92 are also both excellent in their own right, but when I think of War Games, I think of the original "Match Beyond".

92 was one of my favorites because it was one of the bloodiest ones they had and had a lot of stars in it. The orginal one and 91 where really good. I can't think of a real good one post 92 come to think about it.

The original. That was my favorite period of the NWA as well and the entire match was just bad ass. I'd love to see the 88 versions. I know there were some, but they decided to replace that match on the home video with the triple cage tower of doom.
We need an extensive NWA dvd series of full ppvs with every match intact.

Aren't they (or didn't they) plan to release a Wargames DVD set?

98 for me by far the awesome spot with Warrior just made the match all that more special esspecially when he burst through the cage without any problems at the end and Hogan was standing wating for him

The 87 ones for me. Once I converted the 87 Bash over to dvd it has become one of my top 5 that I watch all the time.

First one, but I love the two after it as well.
I really wish WWE would do War Games, it's such a great match type.
