Do you think that there is going to be another major wrestling company to appear mainstream with TV shows, PPVs and major talent being signed?
I know if you were to ask this 10 years ago, people wouldn't even take a Jeff Jarrett related promotion seriously. So, I think there could be a nice chance to see another promotion.

No wrestling is now a shadow of what it was in the 80's and the whole landscape of wrestling (territories and development areas) has changed dramatically (for the worse) which means it's a lot more difficult to break into and build a mainstream wrestling promotion (due to not enough places to pick up and spot talent to build an organization around). I personally think another big promotion could only come around when wrestling reaches another boom period and as far as I am concerned that;s not in the near future if ever wrestling has been fading since the early 2000's and I don;t see a way back and for it not to have a rehashed and been there done that feel (much like all of wrestling now) so the fan attraction to build up fiances would not be there either.

Seriously, I do think that we are going to see either a new promotion or someone is going to buy/take over TNA or ROH and make it huge. I have no actual reason to believe this, but I think people are tired of the WWE style being all there is. My prediction is that at some point in the next decade, a new promotion will rise up. I can't see ROH and TNA just chugging along at exactly the same pace without getting either more popular or going out of business. Heck, maybe some rich wrestling fan will buy both and merge them or something. Who knows what will happen exactly, but someone, somewhere, will rise up to challenge Vince.

Do you remember when rumors were circulating on the internet saying Hulk Hogan is going to start a big wrestling promotion to challenge Vince McMahon...this is after the XWF went bankrupt.

Ya I do There has actually been quite a few rumors over the last decade of the next big WWE size promotion starting up. The fact is (as I stated in my above post) and wrestling fans either don't relise this or just don;t want to admit it. There simply is not enough interest in wrestling anymore and it's not the big money business it once was (apart form WWE). A lot of this is too do with the been there done that feel wrestling has now especially over the past ten years and even more if it is to do with the 'magic has been exposed' and also as stated above there is no territorial system to being the best wrestlers out and the biggest draws into one place. Also the decrese in wrestlknig popularity has to do with the rise of MMA (no matter if you are a fan or not it has contributed)
