It was after Owen returned to the WWF in Dec. 1997 after the "screwjob". Anyone know the one I mean? I can't find it,but I remember someone posting it not too long ago.

I could never understand why Owen couldn't get over at that point. I mean, he had everything going for him, but the fans could just never stop chanting "nugget, nugget" The Nugget chants really only started after this:

Had HBK not been in dick era mode Owen could have been mega over. I think the rise of Steve Austin kinda screwed Owen as well

Had HBK not been in dick era mode Owen could have been mega over. I think the rise of Steve Austin kinda screwed Owen as well And the fact that Austin (reportedly) refused to work with Owen after the botched Sitout Tombstone.
