Can you guys suggest great TNA PPVs that have been released in DVD for me to buy? I want to get into more of TNA's past, and I am really interested in seeing TNA's older ppvs. I am already gonna get all of the Bound for Glory's, just because I want to.

Hard Justice 05 -Main Event: AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett (c) for the NWA World Title with Tito Ortiz as the Special ref.
That main event is worth the dvd alone
Lockdown 05 or 06? -Stings Army vs. Team Jarrett (Lethal Lockdown) Abyss vs. Christian (TNA title) Sabu vs. Samoa Joe Team Japan vs. Team TNA (World X Cup Preview)

Any TNA PPV from 2006 really a stand out year creatively for TNA. I will also throw some love in for Lockdown 2008 the main event of Joe vs Angle was really good and the undercard was solid as well (Jay Lethal winning the X-Division title among other things).

I'm currently re-watching Best of X-Division Vol 2 (which contains mostly PPV matches), and it is awesome.

I would suggest Genesis 2005. Had Christian's debut, an AWESOME Styles vs. Williams match, the first hardcore encounter between Sabu and Abyss, an AWESOME 8 man X division tag match with Aries, Strong, Joe, Daniels, Shelley, Dutt, and I think Bentley and someone else, and an absolutely WILD brawl main event between Team 3D and Rhino vs. AMW and Jarrett. I mean, on paper, that main event doesn't sound very good, but this match RULED. They brawled all over the building, weapons all over the place. Maybe it's because I was there live, but this match ruled.

I have to second Lockdown 2008. Very well done show. Every match was at least above average, the hype videos/promos were done in a very cool way, and the main event blew me away. As I was wathing it, I was thinking "Holy crap, if this is where TNA is taking their product it'll set the wrestling world on fire." Sadly, the next Impact was back to the same old stuff. But enough negativity, it's an awesome show, and I highly recommend it as part of anyone's wrestling dvd collection.

The rest of the card had a respectable build but the matches ended up being really good or at least solid. I didn't think TNA was going to turn some sort of corner BUT I thought that if they could gear their product like the Angle vs Joe angle then it would be awesome. The show supported its excellent main event well. All in all it was a good show probably the best of the pre-MEM 2nd Russo era.
