A talent meeting was held at 2:00 p.m. ET at the TNA Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. Dixie Carter addressed the talent roster and stressed that the wrestlers need to tighten up their in-ring work. She said the wrestlers are essentially spoiled because they benefit from a taped show that can be edited. "Guys were fuming," said one TNA source regarding Carter's comments. Carter also hyped the success of the TNA Xplosion television show in Australia, and raved about the Victory Road pay-per-view on Sunday. www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish/TNA/article10012928.shtmlThat's...a bit random.

Meh. Get over it, fellas. You're public entertainment; criticism comes with the job. And the person who sign's your check is the one with the opinion you should listen to the most.
And, if they're mad cuz it's unreasonable...well, they knew the company's reputation when they signed their contracts.

So Dixie says that they're spoiled, but lots of wrestlers signed with TNA because it was mainly taped and little traveling was required. Kind of a catch 22 to complain about them being spoiled when its the nature of the company to spoil.

That gets the LOL of the day from me.
I bet Rob Terry was doing curls at the time and asked Matt Morgan, "They want us to work out in the ring now?"

Hopefully RVD improves at his ringwork. The guy has been going through the motions for years.

There were a lot of blown spots at the PPV last night. It showed big time. There were some guys that literally looked like they were in training, not paid professionals.
I don't blame her for wanting it tighter.

Yeah...I'm sure that's the big problem with TNA right now, Dixie; the ringwork.

I side with Dixie.
And I'm not one to do that if I can help it...

I thought TNA has over the WWE in was the in-ring work department, I guess I was wrong. In general they are, but they also do more spots and whatnot and sloppiness shows really easy, whereas Randy Orton has chinlocks down to a science. So while TNA may be better in GENERAL wrestling wise they also have more opportunities to screw up than WWE does.

I can't stand a match if it is sloppy.

I think they would be fuming, based on the fact that TNA probably has one of the best overall rosters in wrestling today. But, if there were a bunch of botches last night, then certainly that definitely adds to issues. You want to have the best looking roster, period.
Also, I'm guessing Rob Terry will be dropping the belt soon, if this is the case. I think another reason wrestlers may've been fuming, if this is the case, is because she's not a wrestler. And I think if say, Tommy Dreamer said it, who is supposedly Dixie's right hand man, and a really nice guy, it may've been a bit better. Not saying Dreamer is like Steamboat or anything, but at least he's a wrestler.

Of all the things wrong with TNA, the ring work is near the bottom of the list. Roster to roster, nine out of every ten performers is better in TNA than in WWE. I mean, yeah, there are some stinkers, but still. Everybody's gonna botch. It happens. Telling the guys to "tighten up the ringwork" is only gonna kill morale, especially when it's coming from someone who's never been in the ring or taken a bump.

Yeah, but that doesn't really have anything to do with the story. Just clean up the moves during matches. That doesn't affect the schedule or travel time.
