I always loved the feuding tag partners. It never fails to amuse me on some level. No matter how often it's done.

Wacky tag partners is probably the only thing Russo created that really became a staple of wrestling even after he was gone, so I'll have to say that.

Other:Its all Russo's fault.
What? If something gets brought up at least once a thread its a cliche.or a meme, one of the two maybe both.

I think Russo watched a lot of Jerry Springer in the 90s. Thus, his booking mentality.

Legitimately, my favorite contribution of Russo is shades of gray. I know lots of people like having people be outright heroes and villains, but that just doesn't imitate reality very well. I kind of like to believe my wrestling, and shades of gray helps do that.

I always loved his familial twists, such as introducing a family member, revealing a secret relation, having someone get pregnant...very soap opera-ish. Loved it.

I love stupid shoots. Especially because they help no one.
"What a mark!"
"So you're pinning me, one, two, three?"

I'm torn between "it's a shoot, brother" and human or object on a pole matches.

I love the feuding tag partners. As a short term thing, it's quite entertaining. It leads to things like the WGTT of Matt Morgan.
I also enjoy:

Wacky Weddings.
It's --really-- hard for them to not be entertaining on some level.
Shades of Grey is not necessarily bad, but it does make it where there's WAY too many "cool heels"

I voted for the shock heel turn. No one does more idiotic and yet somehow predictable shock heel turns than Vince Russo. How about the recent Eric Young turn where he joined the Band? Anyone watching knew it would happen. Or Joe turning and joining the MEM. Or Karen Angle debuting in a storyline where she hates Kurt and then screws over Joe at the PPV to help Kurt retain. It's all obvious and it's always hilarious.

Is anyone else like me in that anytime something happens unexpectedly in their lives they call it a Vince Russo swerve? And nothing beats a ______ on a pole match.

I actually am not a huge fan of shades of gray booking, which is why I didn't vote for that. At some point you have to have some semblance of a babyface and heel, otherwise the audience can't react to the match.

"This is a shoot!" followed by "On a pole!", are my two personal favs. ;D The last case of "This is a Shoot!" booked, at least in part, by Russo was Hogan & The Sponge "shooting" on the radio show of the latter. It was so pathetically obvious that the whole thing was a worked shoot. That it was a case of being so bad it was good. At least in a lol rather than an excitement way.
