Or has the last few weeks on WWE TV been very attitude era-esque.
All the swerves, random limos arriving, limo assaults, gang warfare... etc.
I don't think the attitude era has aged well at all looking back and watching shows now, but the recent episodes of RAW especially has reminded me of back then but i'm really liking it. Don't think i've enjoyed RAW this much in years.

Not really. Vehicular assault has long held a place in wrestling history, as have limos, group beatdowns, and stables. I don't see anything particularly "Attitude" about it.

It seems very Monday Night Warsish. Lots of swerves, even Smackdown has the B-angle to Raw's Nexus.

It's definitely been different, but everything still feels so stiff and well controlled. The NXT thing is the most organic feeling angle going and even it is being affected by things like tie violence.

I watched the entire episode of RAW last night. I haven't done that in awhile. I really like this angle because it seems edgier than alot of stuff I have seen in awhile.
Also I'm a sucker for a stable or would be stables. I really like heel stables. There seemed to be so many when I was a teen in the Attitude era so I guess it takes me back.

It's not that it's Attitude-ish, it's just that we've been so use to the childish, intelligence insulting bulls*** they've been giving us over the last couple of years, that any thing that's remotely close to realism we start getting Attitude flashbacks.

I like it. It feels like they're getting the most out of the PG rating as they possibly can.

*sitting around in an Attitude Era Anonymous Group
*stands up to speak
My name is (random name) and I 've had my problem for awhile. Its been with me for years. Every time I watch wrestling and they do something edgy I start talking about 3:16 and wanting throw to beers. I start thinking about gang war stable ideas. My wife can't stand it and its really driving a wedge between me and my kids. I just want to get beyond the Attitude Era but the thoughts never go away. The images of that time. Just last week I tried to play shoots and ladders with my son and I won but I just couldn't leave it at that. I yelled "Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ***.!" * cries I CAN'T STOP MYSELF!

You know, a year or two ago I made a thread about how I think WWE toned down the product with the intention of trying to look edgy again in the future. You know, basically lowering the audiences expectations because we'd become desensitized to violence and whatnot. At this point, a chair to the head and a single blade job would be incredibly effective. This whole NXT thing wouldn't have been very effective at all in say...2003.
