At the end of last nights show when Fortune was beating down the ECW "hasbeens" the fans were chanting "this is awesome" and "TNA" while cheering most of the time. Also on Reaction Kaz and AJ Styles were backstage talking about how they have busted their butts for TNA to become top stars and TNA is constantly bringing in wrestlers from other companies to put in the spotlight. Judging by the words of Styles and Kaz combined with the fan reaction will the fans continue to boo Fortune based on their actions or actually cheer them over the ECW guys? I think their is a good chance that alot of TNA fans will side with Fortune. It also doesn't help that Styles still gets a pretty good reaction when wrestling. After Hogan, I honestly think the fans are sick of TNA saying the wrestlers they made stars aren't good enough and have to take a backseat to wrestlers that are well past their primes.

I cheered Fortune in this one.
So I'm not sure who the heels are.
CROSS THE LINE!

Was it just me or at the start of reaction did TNA edit the "this is awesome" chants to "EV 2.0" chants?

Yeah I'm curious about this as well. With Fortune being the heels currently I think fans will side with EV2. But the odd thing is Fortunes argument is that they feel they are having their spots taken by guys who don't deserve it. That right there is a valid/sympathetic argument, so it'll be odd how they can be heels when they are in the right. Of course this is scripted wrestling so logic doesn't matter.

This screams Russo's shades of grey booking were you have faces who while likeable are looking for them selves and heels who while doing unlikeable things are likeable and have valid reasons for doing what they did. And of course Fourtune will be the faces its usually the way Russo's plans work in that they don't work or get anyone over.

Though I voted that Fortune will be the fan favorites by virtue of being some of TNA's best guys, heels have a very long history of making valid arguments for what they do. That rarely seems to take away from being cheered or booed.

I don't want to boo Mick Foley or Tommy Dreamer.

How many of these angles have they done in the past few years?
The only logical way for this to end is have the TNA guys win this feud, but then they have to continue with it, and no longer push the older WCW/WWE/ECW guys ever again.

They are the faces, despite the booking saying otherwise.

It's TNA fans. They'll chant "f*** you Vince", but if Vince McMahon showed up in the Impact Zone, those same fans would start chanting "Thank you Vince!"
In other words, they are fickle.

No Vince Russo feels like if you are ex WWE/WCW or even ECW then you are better then TNA guys. The MEM was put way over the Frontline despite the Frontline being composed mainly of TNA originals. I fully expect that Fourtune which is composed of mainly TNA originals will get buried by the has beens of ECW. If I were booking it I would let Fourtune bury EV 2.0 then have them spin off into a feud with TNA babyfaces like Jay Lethal and other Babyfaces like Angle and Hardy.

Who the hell is Will Fortune? Turns out WWE actually does own the name Hulk Hogan. TNA had to change his name and Will Fortune was the best they could come up with.

I guess they were going for irony, given the divorce. Speaking of Hogan and divorce, I see him and Flair having a moneymaking sitcom in the works. Odd Couple: Hogan and Flair, anyone?
