Batista could seriously be doing movies for like the next 10 years as long as he stays on the HGH to maintain his comic-book physique.

I can understand if personally he doesn't want to be in a PG-rated show, but giving up a whopper of a contract as he was bound to have but with nothing already lined up...? I don't think that's a smart move. Maybe he mad that he wasn't get paid in Burger King Whoopers? No really, I hope he was smart enough to save a good chunk of money before he left.

He's sort of a bitch isn't he?
He talks crap about his wife when she's sick. He seems like an asshole. And he complains alot.
You had a multimillion dollar contract, constant title shots, sold merch, constantly on tops of cards when your old broken down ass wasn't injured.
Get over yourself. I'm glad he's out of wrestling. I didn't like him. The only times I ever found him tolerable was in Evolution and his last few months there as a heel. The latter because I knew he was on the way out.

wait wait wait? I thought Batista time off was an injury storyline...so that RAW really was true in that he told them he was quitting he meant it? Wow i missed this completely. He was actually supposed to be done after Extreme Rules, but the WWE convinced him to stay an extra month and bow out at Over The Limit.

I read his book and watched (actually own) that dvd release WWE did on him. I liked him less after both as a person.

I liked him less after both as a person. He's a turd of a human being that exists only to make money and f*** anything that moves. He was mildly entertaining right before he left, but I've hated him as a worker and a human being for years. I'd love to see his injury prone ass get into MMA. He'd probably get a leg ripped off.

I still can't beleive a 40 year old man with a history of muscle tear issues wants to get into MMA. Yeah he's big and built, but with his history and apparent attitude (he said he wasn't happy there, yet judging by exposure, the man was treated very well), I don't know if he'd make it through training let alone getting in there with someone who wants to prove something. Think of it like Kurt Angle. I often wonder if anyone pulls him aside and says "Kurt, you are one bad kick to the head from spending the rest of your life in diapers. I think you should stick to a sport where people don't target your potentially literally crippling weakness."

Honestly... I'm about two more posts from deleting posts referencing that long-ago Batista basketball moment. That joke is so outdated, if it were a real person, it would wearing Zubaz pants, a fanny pack and a Von Dutch baseball cap.

Batista vs Bathturd in Strikeforce book it. Yes! I can only imagine the photoshops that would come out of that.

Its a logic leap to assume Batista doesn't want to be in a "PG Show" because he doesn't like "the current product". He could just as easily be fed up with guest hosts or the WWE's boring scripts as he could over the lack of blood/cursing.

He could just as easily be fed up with guest hosts or the WWE's boring scripts as he could over the lack of blood/cursing. Or it could be that they got tired of dealing with him and wouldn't use him as much, especially after 3 straight PPV matches vs Cena. The NXT angle could elevate more people in one shot than he's ever put over in his career. Ultimately, this is all speculation on our part...let's just hope he saved his money (and paid that $1.5m he owes in taxes) so he can do what ever he likes without hurting himself again.

Memes become memes because a large number of people think they're funny. Though the Batista/basketball joke may be outdated, there are still a fair number of people (myself included) who think it is still pretty darn funny. If you don't, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.
As far as Big Dave, going to MMA, he might try it, but I don't think he'd be very successful. I expect him to sign with TNA fairly shortly, and eventually return to WWE for one last run.

Sure, that's a possibility as well. Bats was reportedly not easy to work with and certainly tended to not put people over.

Batista doing MMA not bloody likely. The man is 41, injury prone and unless Strikeforce gives him nothing but cans to fight he will get his arse handed to him. Think of it like Kurt Angle. I often wonder if anyone pulls him aside and says "Kurt, you are one bad kick to the head from spending the rest of your life in diapers. I think you should stick to a sport where people don't target your potentially literally crippling weakness." Well Dana White told him the extact same thing only Kurt didn't take it too well.
