I've noticed that ever since he went to Smackdown Kofi's been using the SOS/Ranhei as his primary finisher a lot more. While it's always nice to have more strike finishers like the T.I.P., the Ranhei is a pretty unique and effective-looking move methinks. From the looks of it he'll be mixing it up and using both, which is quite nice, but if you had to pick one, which would you rather?

As I said in a thread I posted about this earlier, I want him actively using BOTH. It will make matches seem a lot less predictable.
What's disappointing is that on Smackdown, Kofi never seems to hit the Trouble In Paradise anymore, ever.
From what I can tell, they just gave him the Morrison treatment. Morrison used to hit the corkscrew moonsault as a transitional move and finish with the Moonlight Drive neckbreaker, then they just flipped the two moves for some reason.

I really would like Kofi to keep using both consistently so that he has a finisher for whoever he has to face, no matter the size. For example, I really don't ever see someone like the Big Show or Kane being able to take the SOS, so having the Trouble in Paradise is nice to have.

I like Trouble in Paradise more than SOS; but SOS is a good move

100% agree with the people saying he should keep both...... no reason at all he should have to stop using one, I love guys with multiple finishers.
If forced to choose one though, I'd go with the SOS...... as I've never really seen it look bad, whereas we've seen some awful T.I.Ps (no fault of Kofi's...... horrible selling, blatantly blocking it with their arms, etc)

Trouble in Paradise can easily be blocked though. Just ask Orton.

Both are good. The Trouble in Paradise is a good finisher for 2 reasons: striking finishers can come at any moment & it's good for crowd involvement (clapping during the TIP Drill, as I like to call it). The SOS is great as an out-of-left-field counter, catching an opponent off-guard to get the 3. Kofi, keep doing both.

I like the SOS, but I prefer it as a standard move with Trouble in Paradise as his finisher. It's a nice change of pace having a move like it that tends to come out of nowhere.

I think the SOS should be utilized against smaller guys while the Trouble in Paradise is saved for bigger opponents that can't take the latter move very well. The latter is a bit better in my opinion though since it's easier to hit from nearly any position, which is a key to any good finisher.

The SOS is great as an out-of-left-field counter, catching an opponent off-guard to get the 3. Kofi, keep doing both. In a larger sense, having both is good because it adds more suspense to matches. In the current WWE formula for the past year or so, all nearfalls go to 2-and-a-half, and 99.9% of all clean wins come from finishers. Everything else, and I mean everything else, gets kicked out of. It makes the matches very boring and predictable to watch. Having a guy with 2 legit finishers that are each booked as legit threats that can and regularly do put opponents away opens up the booking possibilities considerably, and it doesn't just come down to waiting to see who gets their one single, solitary finisher first. The Rey/Punk series, which Punk marks have praised to high heaven for Punk's ringwork, was as boring as all hell because despite all the nearfalls after the crossbodies and dropkicks, which got seagull pops aplenty, it was blindingly obvious that the matches WOULD NOT END unless one of the two men hit an actual finisher, and each of those men currently has only one.

I'd prefer ALL wrestlers having multiple moves that we can accept as being match winning moves, so yeah both.

The SOS looks cool, but it doesn't really have any impact behind it. I don't buy people not being able to kick out from it.

Like it's been said, the TIP can knock out big men, and SOS can take out a smaller opponent. They kinda compliment each other.

I haven't watched Smackdown since Kofi was drafted there; what is the SOS?
