I'm confused. He joined the WWE in 2002? Yeah, before that, he was in the rival organization known as the WWF.

WWE needs to have Khali be the attacker now, just to see the reaction.

As for the news...I thought everyone knew wrestling was all storylines and fixed fights. Seems like India hasn't taken the hint.

I wanted to make a Muhammed Hassan reference here, but it would bomb.

I like the bit about a family statement, I wonder which bit of Kane's speech the papers would quote, or maybe they're waiting for Paul Bearer to say something.

Completely wrong. He was training in the US in All Pro Wrestling at the time. Brian Ong had gotten a concussion earlier in the day but the trainers told him to keep wrestling. He flapjacked Ong, so that Ong could learn to take the move, not so Khali could learn to deliver it, as I understand. Instead of taking the move properly Ong ended up grabbing Khali's shirt, holding on and landing on his head, getting a second concussion.

India has heavily edited WWE TV were The Great Khali is the number one babyface and is always the champion even when he isn't apparently.
