...LayCool is actually a relief.
Why?
Because I was almost positive they were going to put Low-Ki with Hornswoggle. Seriously.
And from the look of things, that pairing might be the only reason I'd watch NXT next 'season', if at all. Don't know if they're trolling the internet or not, but it is still just standard operating procedure for WWE: break them down and then build them up again (especially guys with so-called 'indy cred'). Gotta remind everyone who the big dogs are...

Evan Bourne, Tazz, Mick Foley, CM Punk, RVD, Dudleys,....etc. I like conspiricies as much as the next man, but I really disagree that the WWE has some hidden agenda against name indie wrestlers. If anything they booked Daniel Bryan perfectly, as the fans have totally bought into the story, which make him much more marketable than if he would have just came in and started winning matches on Raw. Now he has a back story that the fans can rally behind, which is valuable in the long term.

The only thing I can suspend my disbelief is that laycool will teach him how to have sex better. Women weaken legs which will be bad for Kaval since he uses a lot of kicks.

McCool can teach him how to steal other wrestler's finishing moves. Layla can teach him how to dance like a woman possessed when the club music hits. Kaval will be bigger than 2 Rock's + 3 Hogans

I can't wait for Kaval to come out to Laycool's theme.

I fully support this. It'll instantly give him something to use to stand out, and Senshi's weekly entrance is going to be hilarious.

If Laycool talk to him like in they're backstage promos, Kaval's gonna eat a gun by the end of the season I'm predicting.

Now he has a back story that the fans can rally behind, which is valuable in the long term. Well, I did say that they also build the guy up again if they see potential. And time will tell on Danielson, because the follow-up is key. How many times have we seen red-hot acts fizzle out because of the incompetence of WWE Creative? Evan Bourne - Until this week he was a jobber relegated to Superstars. Time will tell. Tazz - For all of a month he was pushed as a monster. Then he started feuding with announcers...and losing. Mick Foley - Came in as Mankind the Mutilator. Things did get better. CM Punk, RVD, Dudleys - I'll give you those three, but the Dudleys basically started from the bottom up (complete with stuttering gimmick) when they debuted in WWE, RVD languished in the midcard for years despite being one of the most over guys in the company, and CM Punk has had the good fortune of being in the right place at the right time (with all the injuries/firings/retirements/etc. as of late). And this phenomenon isn't restricted to indy wrestlers, as WWE has rebranded guys for years. "King" Harley Race, "young rookies" Jack and Jerry Brisco, "Hoss" Funk, etc. But when Cole is ranting and raving about the internet every week on the show, it's hard not to draw some conclusions.

Kaval coming out to "You're not enough for me!" as McCool and Layla dance beside him will be a thing of legend.

They didn't need to break Ki down. He's been in FCW forever now. He's been out of the Indy scene for long enough to not need "Daniel Bryaning."

I'm shocked that the WWE managed to one-up my brain in terms of "WTF?"
I feel humbled. Like less of a man.

I've always looked at the rebrandings as a mixed bad. On one hand, it does diminish what was possibly a very good career that they could build on. On the other hand, it gives them the freedom to create a backstory that could be more beneficial in the long term. I'll admit, it can have negative impacts if the "new" character totally bombs with the audience. Knock Knock.. Who's there... Braden Walker

I'm sorry, but Low Ki wrestling weekly with an erection (or "Cenaing") would be a license to print money.
