I mean seriously did they learn nothing from season 1?
I like Zack Ryder, but this Titus O'Neil guy seems to be as dull as Michael Tarver if not even worse. He talks like he's got zero charisma and I think he's just going to get eliminated straight away.
And no it's not because he's black.

Considering Michael Tarver turned out to be one of the most interesting guys in the first season...

He's gonna be a guy who's charisma comes from the fact that he's a scary dude that doesn't have to do much to get his way. Ryder is going to try and get him to do things, and this guy is going to give him an evil stare and scare Zack.
Tarver had a terrible relationship with Carlito looking back. It didn't get the best out of Carlito, it didn't get the best out of Tarver, who has much more to give. A pairing like LayCool/Kaval can get the best out of both of them, and so can this. It will accentuate both their characters.

There is a big difference between him and Tarver. Tarver actually had charisma. I'm not even sure if this guy has been wrestling for all that long.

I think trained the right way he could cut a Jake Roberts type promo. Talk low and slow....

I think trained the right way he could cut a Jake Roberts type promo. Talk low and slow.... That's not exactly easy. Jake Roberts is looked at as one of the best talkers in the business. The reason is because he had an exact science in how he did it. He could show emotion without screaming which was incredible.

I just meant that is the style he needs to aim for.

From that short clip, he reminds me of the Alpha Male Monty Brown... I doubt he has the same awesome mannerisms though.

Ryder will give it his all. Carlito was a worthless slacker who did nothing to get his rookie over.

He has a better pro than Tarver had. At this point I would say he is but who knows I didn't think much of Barrett when NXT first debuted but now it's clear he is the best rookie.
Tarver was also horribly booked I feel, much more potential to his character.

I'm just glad they are pulling the plug on this in a few months. I've grown to hate NXT.
