This guy is soft spoken, but he can cut a decent promo. What were they thinking when the originally had him play a mute ?

You should see him go out and out batshit. I'm praying that, at some point, he relapses into his Freakin' Deacon persona.

Yeah, for somebody who played a mute for that long I was VERY surprised at his level of skill on the mic.

Yeah, for somebody who played a mute for that long I was VERY surprised at his level of skill on the mic. I listened the a shoot interview the the Sun (UK) did with MVP. He mentioned that Luke Gallows is was very good at talking. This was when he was Festus.

The problem is that he's at his best in the ring when he wrestles like a ferocious beast, which totally doesn't work with such a soft-spoken voice. It's the same problem Mike Knox had and to a lesser extent, it's a problem Sheamus suffers from.
If they let Gallows/Festus wrestle like a monster and toss around guys like rag dolls, I'd rather he remain silent. If he had been around back in the 80s and had a good heel manager like a Heenan or a Slick, he would've gotten over huge.

OT, but every time I see that Lashley pic, I think of the time when I saw it captioned with "I made poopies!" I searched and searched but I cannot find that pic now. 1000 internets and a cookie to anyone that can find it.

They should tie his characters together like WCW did with Raven. Have Punk find out his pills weren't pain pills, they were anti-psychotics. He was the fake Kane, then they drugged him up and he became Festus.

IMO, Luke Gallows' mic skills are pretty indy-tastic. He's just another Snitsky/Mike Knox-esque plodding big man.
