Now that Daniel Bryan seems to be a decreasing memory and, if this past week was any indication, they seem to be playing up Bryan Danielson's indy cred, do you think the E will actually go all the way and give him "The Final Countdown"? I kind of see it kind of being like Sandman and "Enter Sandman", in terms of epicness vs. reality, but then again I don't know what Europe charges for royalties.
Then again, comparing Danielson vs. Sandman's positions in the company, if they honestly believe Danielson is the next huge thing, I could see them shelling out for it.

he couldn't even use "The Final Countdown" for ROH on HDnet, I'd say chances are 0%.

In all seriousness, I'm kind of hoping he gets this theme
I think the main lyric fits Bryan to a T.

I'm expecting a Jimmy Hart Version of "The Final Countdown" similar to what Balls Mahoney had WWECW.

If WWE pays for the rights to use The Final Countdown for some IWC wet dream, but can only afford Enter Sandman once, they can go f*** themselves.

I'm more than reasonably sure that Europe doesn't charge half what Metallica does for "Enter Sandman." Didn't Metallica want like $6 million dollars or something?

And I doubt AFI wanted near as much as Europe would to use as Punk's theme song. There's no way WWE is going to spend all that money for a new talent. 90% of the crowd wouldn't even recognize the song.

Europe seem happy to licence the song to most people, but the WWE tend to prefer going further than that. It's probably a bit too common for them.
As for Enter Sandman - Metallica make it very prohibitive for people to licence their songs. They are very protective over their music.

I agree that there is no way this happens. Johnston will make some music for him.

The WWE don't let you keep music from outside the company, unless it's 2001 and you're a WCW guy. It isn't, he isn't, no Europe.

They kept R-Truth's music from TNA intact, but that's probably because he created it himself.
I can see him getting a soundalike theme or something like Nunzio, Tommy Dreamer, and Balls Mahoney did. If he becomes a big enough star, maybe he can convince them.

I think punk has said in an interview he wanted a new theme for wwe when he debuted. They even got cult of personality for when austin was inducted into the hall of fame. I'm sure if punk wanted that they would try... Danielson may want the same thing, but lets hope they give him TFC

Do you think he could use the entrance he used on ROH on HDnet. I thought that was a good one. I mean, R-Truth got to keep his TNA theme.
