In your opinion, how is Shad's heel turn going? It is tough to redefine yourself after years in a certain role. I think Shad *could* be a major player but too many missteps or a crowd that is apathetic will send him to the bottom of the card or to future endeavours.
Thoughts so far?

Boring typical monster heel squashing jobbers. Not good, should have never split up Cryme Tyme. Now MVP is getting held down by it, when he should be getting pushed.

Too early to tell. Outside of the short feud with JTG, he hasn't really done anything yet.

He probably should have gone over in the strap match if they were serious about pushing Shad.

I think he is a credible monster - but it is too early to tell. Love his new entrance music though.

Horrible.
I don't know why WWE is so intent on breaking up popular tag teams for? It just about never works out for either guy (World's Greatest Tag Team & babyface Carlito and Primo) are great examples of this. Why even have tag teams if you just break them up?
Oh wait...they always have the option of throwing Miz and [insert name here] into another heel team don't they?
I'll be surprised if Shad is still employed before the summer is over quite honestly.

He probably should have gone over in the strap match if they were serious about pushing Shad. Yeah when you lose the only PPV match your feud is most likely going to get, that's a bad sign.

It's going.
I like Shad, but he's way in the background right now. I'm not going to pass judgment until I see how he does in a real feud.

I gotta say, he actually is doing well. At the Halifax live Show, he took my MVP sign and ripped some of it after the match, but dude was getting huge heat with how he was stalling and just in general. people were booing pretty loud

Hopefully not the Mike Knox route of "big intimidating guy that never wins", but I forsee that happening sadly.

Shad's music really sucks.
And before you say "Oh, he's bigoted against hip-hop", I loved Ezekiel Jackson's music. Shad's literally sounds completely generic and low energy. Its the least energetic wrestling music since the D-Mac theme.

I love everything about Shad's heel turn and I think people who are downing on it are not able to separate it from the whole "'a tag team got broken up" thing.
Boo hoo. Heel Shad has been just great.

He probably should have gone over in the strap match if they were serious about pushing Shad. I think they are trying to get both of them over. Originally I think a lot of people thought JTG would be gone right away but WWE obviously sees how talented he is in the ring which is why they gave him the new look and kept the cryme tyme gimmick on him in a singles role.

The problem to me is they hotshotted the turn way too fast. If they had built it up, weeks of resentment towards JTG, it might have been more successful.
Now he's just generic Hoss #6.

Typical monster heel push. Bland personality squashing local jobbers.
