If this was already discussed in the Raw thread, pardon my tardiness.
The Titantron for Raw this week looks like it was just one big screen, rather than the screen surrounded by the light-squares on the right and left and the bars on top and bottom. Is this just because of the venue, or do you think this is a permanent change to the HD set?
I'm not really sure what to think. Though I think the titanton screen could be wider than it's been, without the squares and stuff bordering it it looks kinda bare, actually.

I didn't notice it, tbh.
I hope they don't change it though. I like the set the way it is.

I hate the hd set, especially on all 4 shows. the one thing that caught my eye is if it is a permanment set, this would be the first time in RAW titantron history that there hasnt been any scaffolding structure on either side of the screen. I kinda miss the hard structures they used for sets, ala the raw 2003-2005set with the shape designs on the sides

It was taped last week. They reverted back to the old setup the next day at Tuesday's NXT/SD tapings.

It was probably because Summerslam was in the same arena the night before and they didnt have time to set up the complete Raw set.

Yeah, they were just re-using the same screen as SummerSlam. The scaffolding will be back on next week's RAW, I guarantee it.

I understand it's to save money, but it also strikes me as just being lazy.

I agree, and not only cause I find your avatar hilarious, I also miss the fact that most PPV's aren't themed like they were before, I guess being named after gimmick and special stipulation matches does that.

My favorite was the original Raw titantron, with WWF scaffolding on the sides from 1998-2000 (then they became moving video)
