Does Wade Barrett still have that guaranteed title shot for winning NXT in the storylines?

Since it's free radio I think I can mention this, but I was listening to the Bryan & Vinny Show on f4wonline and they brought up Vince saying that SummerSlam will be the turn around at the lastest conference call.
Bryan doesn't know anything, he just thinks that means something big wil happen because why would Vince say that at a conference call when he has another one in 3 months and would have to answer questions about nothing happening at SummerSlam.
I really hope something big does happen. Now I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm more interested after hearing Vince said that.

Unless it's The Rock or Cena turning heel, I don't seem anything really..changing the status-quo per-say... And as much as I've wanted Cena to turn for years, I'd hate it on Sunday. Would make no sense...

Sheamus wins his match against Orton, HHH comes out and beats the living potatoes out of him leaving the Miz to cash in.
I'm calling it now.

Any number of things could happen in the final part of the main event, but I am going to suggest that Miz will not join Team WWE, and that the 7th man will eventually be there to take Miz out before turning on Team WWE.
Only problem with a scenario like that is that somehow, Miz is gonna look like a wuss. There are three hypothetical routes they can go with Miz's involvement.
1. He cashes in Money in the Bank, becomes WWE Champion (defeating Sheamus to a surprising face pop) and joins the Nexus in a massive mega-turn to end the show, thus affirming Barrett's promise that after Summerslam, there would be a massive shift in power (Miz could still make the turn while holding onto the briefcase, also). Personally, I feel like they would lose on this one, because it would really zap the life out of the storyline's possibilities, and not to crap on Miz's fans, but the guy doesn't have the clout to be part of a "bigger picture", even though I think he'll be a great heel for years to come.
2. He cashes in Money in the Bank, loses, and costs the WWE Team the match without making any direct involvement with Nexus. This could build up Miz as a sore sport, kinda like Jericho at Survivor Series 2001. This one makes sense, but where's the payoff?
3. In this situation, he doesn't have to necessarily cash in the briefcase. But whether he does or he doesn't, he comes out near the end of the bout to offer his assistance to Team WWE, only to purposely turn his back on the team (again, not to join Nexus, but just to screw with Cena/Hart). In the midst of doing so, a familiar theme starts playing, and HHH arrives to massacre Miz, which then leads to HHH blindsiding Cena with a Sledgehammer and turning on Team WWE to join/align himself with the Nexus. This may be the most far-fetched, but of the three possibilities, this one stands out the most.
That last bit with HHH is incredibly unlikely, but of all the possible scenarios where Miz is involved, these seem to make the most sense. The only one I didn't mention was that someone from Team WWE would turn on Miz as soon as he joins the match. I guess this is possible, but Cena/Bret probably won't turn, so this is unlikely.
The only thing that makes #3 from being remarkably awesome is that if Miz isn't the Centerpiece of the storyline, he's gonna get buried somehow, and put on the backburner. This is something you don't want to do if you're building this guy as your potential future World Champion. Again, it'll be awesome to see what plays out, I hope I'm wrong by a couple of country miles.

Okay, so I actually have a theory that I'm kinda hoping happens, but I wouldn't be too bothered if it doesn't. For the sake of example, I'll also include what I expect will happen.
What I Hope Happens, But Probably Won't: Early in the night, Bret gets taken out by Nexus in the backstage area, with Team Raw chasing them off, but now they're down to 7 on 5. The Miz decides to join the team, but Team Raw still has to go in at a one-man disadvantage; however, Cena says he has a backup plan prepared in case Miz had said no, and that person can still be useful.
During the match itself, it comes down to Cena and Miz vs... let's say Justin Gabriel, British Harland Williams Wade Barrett, Skip Sheffield, and Michael Tarver. (Otunga, Bizarro Cena, and Slater get taken out during the match). Miz walks out on Cena, leaving him to his fate (because of his issues with Cena from last year, and to sow the seeds of Miz being behind Nexus)... only for Cena to motion to the back. And out comes Bryan Danielson. The internet explodes in a fangasm of epic proportions, Team Raw seems to be on the road to winning (down to Danielson and Cena vs Barrett)... and then Danielson takes out Cena, allowing Barrett to get the pin and the win for Nexus. Miz runs back down to the ring, they beat up Cena, and the rest of Nexus joins them to gloat.
The Most Likely Scenario: Miz joins the team, Team Raw wins (with Bret getting rid of someone with the Sharpshooter for a feelgood moment) even after Miz walks out on Cena (again, Miz is a bit of a douche in kayfabe), and they celebrate by handing out puppies to everyone. Oh, and then Cena cures cancer.
...yes, I'm joking about the puppies. But you get the idea. =P

I'm personally thinking either it's Triple H who fills the last spot and Miz was just a tease to get people speculating, or Miz cashes in on Sheamus then joins Cenafest / betrays them for Nexus, therefore meaning the bigger picture for Nexus is having crushed all competition while controlling both of the singles men's titles for Raw, and a quick destruction of the Hart Dynasty could soon follow.
Hell, if you make the tag titles go under Freebird rules could even extent to taking the US and World titles if you really want to, but I doubt WWE would go that far with it.
And don't bring up that no title shots s***, it hasn't been mentioned since and it's not like wrestling is known for heavy kayfabe.

If DBD does come out, will he go under Danielson or Bryan?
Seriously, I would mark so hard if in the middle of the match... *dom badadadada baadadaadaa badadadada daadadaadaa da* (The Final Countdown) hit.
I would mark even harder if DBD "turns" and chokes out Cena with a tie he has on him.

Daniel Bryan Danielson, would be good for the 7th on team WWE, but I doubt it will happen.
HHH is unlikely in my mind, because everyone knows that when HHH returns ( as with the other returns) he isn't going to lose. Also, whenever he does return, he's gotta be coming right for Sheamus. Like someone else suggested, possibly after the Orton/Sheamus match, attacking Sheamus, leaving him prone to be beaten by The Miz.
I'm thinking the last member of the team will end up being Vince. Standing side by side with Bret to get some 'payback' on Nexus...maybe finally ending 'heel' Mr.McMahon.

I'd like it come down to Barrett and Cena with the former getting the advantage only for Daniel Bryan to come out and attack Wade... only to attack Cena too. Barrett manages to get to his feet first, and as a result eventually gets the pinfall.
Thus setting up Bryan as the unstable wild card in the WWE/Nexus war.

Does Wade Barrett still have that guaranteed title shot for winning NXT in the storylines? Yes, he still has it, but due to the anonymous General Manager of Raw punishing Nexus, he is currently unable to use it.

I wish the IC match was a ladder match or something just to make it stand out on the show a little more.
