Tonight on RAW, live from Los Angeles in the very same Staples Center that SummerSlam took place from last night, it will be the first RAW appearance since that very first Nexus attack took place almost three months ago for Daniel Bryan.
Last night, The American Dragon made his (almost) triumphant return to the WWE after months of speculation following his tie-related release from the company, eliminating both Darren Young and Heath Slater from the 7 on 7 Elimination Match, before The Miz ran in and hit Bryan with his Money in the Bank briefcase to get him out of the match. The Miz is still bitter about Bryan's defiance during NXT, and now Bryan has unfinished business. Can the Best in the World take the United States Title... and possibly the Money in the Bank briefcase?
The end result of the main event saw Team WWE gain the victory with John Cena as the sole survivor, taking out Justin Gabriel and then Wade Barrett for the win. But if Cena and the rest of Team WWE think that the Nexus are finished, they've got another thing coming. What carnage will Nexus cause tonight, and Cena will also have to worry about Edge and Chris Jericho bailing on him. Will "the Champ" be on top of things?
Speaking of the real Champ, WWE Champion Sheamus cheated his way into keeping the title against Randy Orton by getting himself disqualified. Orton responded by giving the Celtic Warrior an RKO onto the announce table. With Night of Champions coming up in five weeks, will Orton remain in title contention?
Melina is the new Divas Champion, but she had no time to enjoy her win, as LayCool attacked both her and the former champion Alicia Fox after the match. With both SmackDown's Women's Champion Layla and Michelle McCool targeting the RAW champion, is the Divas Division going to be unified very soon?
Tonight's RAW has guest hosts, as Justin Long, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis, the stars of new film "Going the Distance", will be on hand. What hijinx will they be getting up to with RAW's supporting cast?
All that, and hopefully a few "You're gonna get your f****** head kicked in" chants, tonight on Monday Night RAW!
