I've read alot of people assuming the Nexus is dead now after losing last night and while I wasn't thrilled with them losing, going off WWE.com's write up of the match both the Nexus and Daniel Bryan have bright futures ahead.
"And despite the bruising loss, it’s also safe to assume that the WWE Universe hasn’t heard the last of The Nexus – or one Daniel Bryan."

Nexus could put Cena on the shelf tonight for months and the same people would still claim Nexus is dead.

I think they'll return on Monday,
Maybe with Barrett cutting out who he thinks are the weak links in the team (Looking at you Darren Young and Mr. Otunga)
The Nexus need a big victory on Raw though to prove they're still a threat. Maybe Barrett beating Edge or Jericho in a singles match or two of their members winning the tag titles.

"And despite the bruising loss, it’s also safe to assume that the WWE Universe hasn’t heard the last of The Nexus – or one Daniel Bryan." You can practically feel the sarcasm in that quote. Yeah, real subtle, WWE. Face it, people. Nobody in Nexus is ever going to be seen again. They're through.

Nexus aint dead. Tarver and Young aside, they all looked great in the tag match, and they can blame Bryan as the reason they lost, which puts him over too.

Actually, it's a pretty regular pattern with WWE booking these days to kick off a big feud by having the first match involve the faces going over the heels 100% clean, then following that by having the heel get the upper-hand in some situation filled with extenuating circumstances, then embarking on an extended reign of terror that has preemptively been rendered redundant because we already know the face can kick their ass.
Triple H beat Orton at 'Mania 25, then Orton won the title at Backlash and wasted the summer being pushed as the top heel. Sheamus only got to annihilate Triple H (do I see a pattern?) after losing clean to him the first time around, so there isn't exactly going to be any tension about whether or not HHH can defeat him when he does come back seeking revenge.
So Nexus' chances of getting some big victory now are fairly good, now that their momentum is gone and it's been safely established that they aren't as good as the babyfaces and no one actually cares anymore.

Of course they're not done. They lost a match.

Of course they aren't dead, when I made the thread saying they are it has a paranthesis, clearly, I thought, indicating that there was a modicum of sarcasm.
The point still stand though that their momentum and threat level just took a major dive, which, in terms of the bigger picture of where to go, wasn't, IMO, the best idea.

The thing a lot of people seem to be forgetting is this: they're a stable of rookies.
That was their main premise when they formed, that they were sick of being kicked around by the pros and decided to take action. It worked for a while simply due to the numbers factor and nothing more. Once Cena finally got a strong enough army of Raw's top talent (...and Bret and R-Truth), of course Nexus were going to lose. I'm suprised people are so shocked that a bunch of rookies lost to a bunch of top talent. I'm actually suprised they got as far as 2 on 1 at the end.

Nexus T shirt is still the #1 selling product on WWEShop, last I checked. In this merchandise fueled era, it would be silly to have the Nexus just go away.
