So, I found an old VHS in my basement the other day called "WWF's Most Unusual Matches Ever". It was released circa 1994 and was hosted by Gorilla Monsoon. The four matches included in it were:
1. Intercontinental Ladder Match, Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels
2. $10,000 Match, Razor Ramon vs. 123 Kid
3. Survivor Series Match, Bam Bam Bigalow, Bastion Booger & Headshrinkers vs. 4 Doinks (Bushwackers & Men on a Mission)
4. Lumberjack Match, Shawn Michaels vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
I rewatched it for nostalgia, but figured that even for 16 years ago, the only match that seemed all that 'unusual' was the ladder match, and today we've seen so many ladder and lumberjack matches that they don't even seem all that special anymore. And they've done things since then that could make a $10,000 match or a match involving five guys in clown make-up seem painfully dull.
So then I thought, if WWE were to release a new DVD of it's 'most unusual' matches, which ones do you think would/should be included on it? They don't have to have been good matches, just ones that you wouldn't have expected to see or were otherwise unique from any other match (Ex: Dumpster Match, Inferno Match, Wrestler vs. Celebrity Match, etc. etc.).
Also: Hi, I'm Virus. Long time lurker, first time poster. How's it going?

Martel VS Roberts, Blindfold Match. Great psychology & crowd interactions.
Martel VS Michaels, No Punching In The Face. Would have been MOTN had it not been for Hart VS Bulldog. Martel hints at turning face, they should have pulled the trigger on it and push him.
Rougeau VS Boss Man, Jailhouse Match. Great promos.
Last Man Standing match between Cactus Jack & Sandman in which Sandman gets concussed and forgets the rules.
Punjabi Prison Match. Not good.
THAT WCW match that had very complicated rules that included No Exiting The Ring. Dean Malenko exited the ring on instincts and got disqualified, which wasn't in the script.
Casket Match. THAT one between Taker & Yokozuna after which Undertaker died and Marty Jannetty rose to heaven. Damn wrestling logic, damn it to hell.

That atrocious Kennel From Hell match between Bossman and Al Snow would surely make an appearance. In fact, staying with 1999, how about that match Shamrock and Steve Blackman had in the parking lot surrounded by the ring of cars?
Christ 1999 was a horrible year.

Christ 1999 was a horrible year. Yep, beating WCW week after week. Horrible year, all right. Like beating 1999-era WCW is a big achievement. In terms of quality, the WWF that year was very erratic. Some good things mixed with a lot of shit.

Punjabi Prison Match. Not good. I liked the Batista vs Khali one, in particular the awesome ending with Batista's jump in between the cages.
