Well it's that time again for everyone's new favorite summer program. The thread picked up last week and we actually had more pages than Smackdown did the following Friday so let's try and do this again. Join us tonight at 8:00pm on the MSG Network for these 2 shows:
8:00 - The Colossal Jostle - Andre The Giant vs King Kong Bundy, from Sept. 23, 1985
9:00 - Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair, from Nov. 30, 1991.
What's interesting is that the 2 matches that are highlighted were not the main event at either of those cards, so it will be interesting to see if they are shown as the main event of the show or not.
And just like previous weeks I'm going to keep you updated along with the card that happened that night to make you feel like you are actually in attendance. Also because it's quite interesting to see some of the matches that happened during specific time periods.
Hope to see you all here at 8:00 tonight.

I have it on tape somewhere, it's more of an "attraction" really. Two 500 pounders in there at the same time.

Yeah Rockers and Nasties is the Main Event for the 2nd show that night.I looked at the finish to Hogan/Flair and its kinda dumb.

Only two matches for the second show?
I checked my photo album from way back when, and they're from the December '91 MSG show. Flair's wearing black trunks. Still, they're from about 10 rows away from the ring, so they are pretty good pictures.

Well I'm glad they're showing it in order instead of rewriting history and making the biggest matches on the card into the main events

If there is a 3rd match on that second show it'll either be The Big Bossman vs IRS or Bret Hart vs The Mountie

Bret Hart vs The Mountie will be the third match on the 91 card.
Hogan/Flair had to be the main event even though it didn't close the card. It wasn't unusual at MSG shows for the champ to wrestle in the middle of the card. Hogan's title victory over the Shiek wasn't even the last match on the card in 1984.

Interesting to note is this Rockers match was right around the time the team was splitting up in real life, and then onscreen a month or 2 later.

This is that point in his career where it seemed that Capt. Lou Albano managed whoever he wanted at any given moment.
HOLY S***! That's Jesse Ventura's VOICE!

The sheer bigness of this match entertains me.
Maybe Vince knew what he was doing, after all.
God, I love Monsoon/Ventura.
