I know his 2006 is infamous for being constantly squashed, but this last reign was so bad, he didn't even show up to the SD after Fatal-4-Way, and hobbled around for the latter half of it.
What's worse, getting the title because Eddie died an subsequently being squashed or winning the title as a bribe not to take time off for surgery only to do absolutely nothing and then get "injured"?
I say 2010.

The way I see it, the 2010 one was your standard one month nothing reign we've become pretty used to over the past year or two.
The 2006 one was an assassination of character which lasted much longer and was a lot more painful.

2006 because it consisted of him jobbing. At least 2010 looked semi-competent.

2006: Fool me once, shame on...shame on...you...
2010: Fool me you can't get fooled again

2010 was forgettable, something that may surprise you ten years from now if you read about it in a trivia answer.
2006 was flat out offensive.

2010.......did he even have a single match between winning it and losing it?
2006 was quite possibly the worst world championship reign ever.

I think the first time was worse, since it was longer and I don't think a midget belongs anywhere near a heavyweight championship.

The next one.
Say what you want about the first two, but at least they're over.

2010 was short, thus actually better. In 2006 we had to suffer through his non-title matches with Khali, Henry and other giants where he was pinned without much effort. While, magically pulling out the goods during title matches.

At least the 2010 one wasn't covered in the glowing light of Eddies death. Sympathy title reigns are always god awful.

I'm not as high on Rey as I was in 06, but this was just a transitional run whereas the other one was prolonged and poorly booked.

2006 was quite possibly the worst world championship reign ever. Possibly? Did any other legit reign come anywhere near as worse?

2006 was horribly booked. 2010 is sadly a typical title run in the WWE these days.
However, considering the circumstances regarding Rey winning and prolonging his surgery, I will award this bout to 2006.

2006. I didn't find it offensive. However, more importantly, I didn't find it entertaining, either.

2010 in terms of entertainment, 2006 in terms of politics.

Please retire, Rey. No one cares anymore. Even though the guy is hated by the IWC, he's money with little kids. He also attracts a large Hispanic audience for WWE. As long as he wants a job, he'll have one.
