Was just watching some APA clips and it got me to thinking: Did anyone ever really think they'd get that over with the gimmick they had?
I will say this: In all of the backstage poker playing clips, everybody seemed to be having a legit blast doing it.
Loved the gimmick. Who's with me?

They were awesome. I marked when they had that one night comeback in 2007 to save Hornswoggle from Coach and Carlito.

The Door gag always cracked me up.
Plus, their original commercial for their Agency was amazing
Simmons: "The Acolytes Protection Agency..." Bradshaw: "Because we need beer money!"

APA was one of the best things that the E did in that time period. I was always entertained by their antics.

The light going out in the their "office" with the "CLOSED" sign was a legit touching moment.
In hindsight, both that and even their second break-up was pretty memorable too. I'd rank both of their break-ups among the best the 'E has ever done.

The APA were a great idea. Such a simple way for either faces or heels to get assistance in a match, without having to build relationships through vignettes and matches.
Jericho's wrestling Triple H, and worries that his lackeys will interfere? Easy, Jericho hires the APA to watch his back.

It seems like they would occasionally, but have it backfire on them. (Like Kaientai did once hilariously.)

I love the bit where Bradshaw is "locked out" of the APA office, and he basically walks around the door to get the keys he dropped. I love gags like that.

Who were they looking for that one time when one of them looks under a dixie cup?
"Well, he ain't here!"

IT really was touching. Like the last episode of a sitcom, where the main characters are moving out, sigh, and shut the lights.
Also, am I the only one who is amazed by Bradshaw's ability to go from long haired, beer swilling redneck, to short haired, limo riding Conservative Republican? Seriously, which one is the real Bradshaw?

I concur with all the love and have to give respect to their theme music as well.

Seriously, which one is the real Bradshaw? I think they're just separate parts of his real self. We know for a fact that he's a beer swilling redneck. I mean, his wife's from where I live and whenever he's in town, he's down at some hole in the wall getting plastered. He's gotta spend his money on something besides investing. I do miss the APA though. That was the sort of the end of one of the best tag team divisions WWE ever had which led us to the new "let's push a team for a year and break them up, have em feud and/or go to other brands". Stupid Draft.

Why can't WWE be that funny while still tough anymore?
