Lock if this was already posted but I didn't see it. {Spoiler} Alex Riley suffered a bad head injury at the FCW tapings when Kaval kicked him off the side of the ring. He smacked his head on the guard rail and blood was pouring out the back of his head. They had to stop the match and have a stand by match run instead. No word on how severe the gash was but he couldn't make it to the back under his own power and Kaval was said to be standing in the ring looking concerned. I guess that I should add this was a title match and Kaval will get another shot at the title when Riley is healthy enough to face him. They may not be showing this on tv though and if they do it won't air for another 3 weeks from now. It's being reported that the injury is not severe but Riley may miss the tapings this week.

Not really a spoiler besides that Riley likely won't be competing this week.
Shame, since he's pretty much the only one of the current batch I give a damn about.

Depending on how severe it is though it could keep him out longer.

Damn, that really, really sucks. Hopefully, it's nothing that will have him out too long. If it is, though, would they bring in an alternate to take his place on NXT, or would they just eliminate him if he couldn't work due to "inactivity"?

I'm not sure how that would work. They have so many guys on the roster who are inactive as it is there right now. I don't know.

The fact that he bled from his head injury is probably a good thing. Most of the impact of the blow was likely absorbed by rending the skin open. That way he likely did not suffer any intracranial bleeding, a major concern of head injuries.

I have a feeling he might get eliminated next if it's severe (probably have the other six compete against each other and all six impressing the pros so much that they all vote for each one but him or Miz just dicks around too much causing everyone to vote his guy off)

Going to knock out both of the above posts here.
I really hope it isn't major. Regardless of what any of us think of a performer we never want them to get a severe injury and a head injury is scary. I hope you're right that since it bled it may not be as bad.
As far as voting him off. You could be right. It would suck for him if that was the case and I think Kaval would feel terrible.

{Spoiler} Kaval was said to be standing in the ring looking concerned. I smell a David Flair style Titan Tron coming on.
