I'm not saying reunite Gangrel, Edge, and Christian, but honestly i think it would be cool if they brought back Gangrel as a manager(and occasional wrestler) in a Kevin Sullivan Taskmaster type of manager role. For some reason I actually think that some of the guys in Nexus would be great for the part. I think Gabriel, Slater, and Sheffield as the enforcer would make a pretty cool stable with Gangrel as the manager. Gabriel could totally pull of a badass vampire diaries pretty boy look and Slater already looks a bit weird and Sheffield would look like the biggest scariest vampire ever. With how big vampires are right now I think it would get over overnight especially if they did it right like the original brood(not something corny like Kevin Thorn). I actually believe from Kevin thorn interviews I've heard that this was the plan for him and they were going to bring in Gangrel as the manager and wrestle but didn't like that he gained so much weight so he wasn't brought in and instead they had Kevin Thorn go on his own with a hot vampire valet. Then I heard Thorn say in an interview that they were going to do a small stable around him where he would bite guys and bleed out real bad and then the next week they'd come out with him in vampire stuff all pale but they obviously never did that either. I think they totally blew the Kevin Thorn thing by dressing him up like a vampire from the 1930s. I mean the pants was okay but the top was a dress shirt and a tie!! Seriously Vince? A vampire in 1930s garb top? Don't you watch ANY movies? I'm not saying that Kevin Thorn was bad it's just that Creative didn't do ANYTHING with the gimmick. It was pretty awesome with the cool music and the cool ring jacket he wore during the entrance but they never pushed him real big to the ECW main event level.

Gangrel had that cool entrance with the fire, and the rising from the stage and spitting the blood from the goblet. I actually was looking forward to E&C going against the Hardys as the New Brood, since Matt and Jeff had a really creepy look as vampire heels. But the plug got pulled pretty quick on that.
Today...I don't know. The PG-sensitivity would take away the blood and fire, most likely. And you'd be left with a bunch of guys that just dress like goth guys. Even in the Attitude Era, they just kind of alluded to what the Brood was all about...they never really got much mic time or vignettes.
Personally, I'd hate it, since I'm so sick and tired of hearing about Twilight and that stuff, but it might get over.

Keep Sheffield away from this. FAR...FAAAARRRR AWAY. He and Tarver kind of have this APA 2010 vibe going, and I don't want any pretty-boy blood suckers ruining that.

That's a good point about the blood so I guess they wouldn't be able to spit blood or anything but I bet they could still do the fire entrance especially since Kane still has his. I think it would still be pretty cool

I just don't like the idea of Gangrel managing anybody. Dude was f***ing awful on the mic.

I was a pretty big Kevin Thorn mark, and had you done a stable with say, him, Hade Vansen, and some other guy, I think it could have worked amazingly well.

I just don't like the idea of Gangrel managing anybody. Dude was f***ing awful on the mic. Well that's the thing. he doesn't have to talk. He barley talked back during the old Brood and they still got mega over. BTW some of the responses in this thread just reminded me why I hate Twilight. It absolutely ruined vampires by making everyone think that vampires are just pretty boys who sparkle. Do you know how many years it to will take to make vampire badass again?

As long as it'll take to start making vampires look like Count Orlok again.

Sheffield looks way bigger than Tarver. APA worked really well because they both had a somewhat similar build. I'd actually prefer Tarver to go on his own. Unless they gave Sheffield a cool mask like Tarver and let him wear his leather vest with the spikes then I'd be all for them being a tag team.

Yeah, in 12 years when Vince discovers what Twilight is.
On second thought, that might not be a bad thing if he doesn't know what it is. I counted no less than 3 or 4 TV shows either going on or about to premiere that involve Vampires in one form or fashion.

Well, they tried a wolfman gimmick, but that didn't work out so well.
Oh wait, that was Mike Knox.

Er, nice video. Trying to remember when Dolph, Jeff and Melina were in the Brood, maybe I took too many knocks to the noggin recently or something.
However, if they try that sparkly Twilight vampire crappy bollocks in the WWE there will be a very angry Englishman heading to the States with a cricket bat.

If they were scary and intimidating vampires like the kinds you see in Blade or in Near Dark, I'd be all for it. If they're like the vampires you see today, I would want nothing to do with it.
