I don't see how they can fix them, if someone trips (like Titus) or drops it (like McGillicuty) what do they do?

Judging by the results of last season (the eliminations meant nothing because they all got contracts) I'm voting 'shoot'. The winner of the competitions/NXT show as a whole will just get a stronger push sooner rather than later.

There was the selling programs challenge in season 1 which Gabriel obviously won, but they said Otunga had sold more. So for that one, that was definitely a fix.

No, they're not shoots. What's up with you people? NOTHING is a shoot. Just take a look at how bad the acting job of Titus and Harris was when they had to pretend to hurt themselves.
Don't want to ruin anyone's innocence here, but the fans' voting also has absolutely 0% of the say in deciding who gets eliminated when.

I feel like the competitions are legit, but the voting isn't. I'm sure that they really do count the fan votes, but they can basically have the pro's vote however they want, so it doesn't matter.

Works. If you watch the clock at the end, they speed it up so people have worse times than they would have if real.

So Titus nearly killing himself by stumbling and almost ramming his head into the steel post was intentionally scripted? I've gotta say that I'm kind of skeptical here.

I think the Keg Carry is the only one that's actually a shoot.

{Spoiler}Lucky's going to win the vast majority of the challenges because everyone knows he's gone if he's not immune

Works. If you watch the clock at the end, they speed it up so people have worse times than they would have if real. Yeah, Percy legit topped Lucky's time, but they waited to stop the clock. On the other hand, Percy Watson doesn't need immunity because people like him anyway. Same with Kaval simply stepping aside. They don't need immunity considering where they are.

{Spoiler}Lucky's going to win the vast majority of the challenges because everyone knows he's gone if he's not immune They can just have all the "pros" "vote" for Lucky, canceling out the fans' voting. Or they can just ignore the fans' voting when it comes to who gets eliminated. Or both. {Spoiler}The correct answer is "both."

I doubt that was planned but, he wasn't suppose to win. Just like in the ring (at least in the old days), it's "He's gonna win, your gonna lose do what you have to, to get there". I get what you are saying, just explaining how I think it's done.

The almost killing himself? That was an O'Neil Original, baby. Exactly. The stumble was scripted to happen that way...he just didn't do it right or whatever. The entire show is a work and they still try to push it off as a shoot thus why I don't watch it much. I know the voting of the fans doesn't matter and the voting of the pros is scripted. It's presented like a reality show to a degree which bugs me...I don't like the format. We know every single one of them has a real contract already thus why they are on the show. And more than likely all of them will still have contracts even if they get eliminated and will just be brought up at a later date unless they get a storyline to do it otherwise. Obviously WWE feels they all show some potential since they not only gave them contracts to begin with but are now trusting them to go out on a show that is presented as a shoot and to some degree might actually BE a shoot. They put them out there and give them a shot to get the fans to like them. I do think that how the fans react to the individuals does have some bearing on how the show progresses and who will and won't get eliminated unless WWE has bigger and better plans for the individual in the long run.
