I am guessing this is not the only wrestling message board that loves this guy. If the internet voting really counts for half of the points, then I wouldn't be surprised if he got alot of votes from it and that the WWE had no idea of his popularity in the IWC. Does everyone else think this whole poll is fixed or Watson legitimately got #2 from the internet votes?

I didn't think about it. I was trying to think about why either the voting public or the WWE pros would POSSIBLY put Percy Watson in #2 to worry about how he got there.
When he gets the Warrior's Way, I'll smile in my soul.

It's blindingly obvious that WWE works all their polls.
You guys really think they'd give another guy a giant push that was outside of their script and planning just because a bunch of people voted in a Web poll?

Then why did Alex Riley, the guy they seem have to picked personally to be the favorite this year, end up in fourth place? You'd think if they were rigging things that he'd would've been in at least third if not higher.

That fix made something awesome into something completely ridiculously terrible. Nah, I was kidding. I like both guys. However, I don't think it's that hard to believe that Percy Watson could win the fan voting. He has something that is sorely mising in today's WWE: a fun character and a personality. He's not just some drone that walks around in trunks being serious and intense all the time (like Nexus and Legacy before them). He's not some serious heel wearing a suit devoid of any personality or emotion. (Jack Swagger and Chris Jericho). He's not some face content to smile all the damn time and say, "Aw, shucks. I'm just happy to be here." (Lucky Cannon). He has an actual character and an undeniable charisma about him. Does he need work? Yes. Would I rather watch him than a lot of the charisma-less wrestlers out there today? Absolutely. I think people are drawn to his weird energy and charisma.

I'm surprised they didn't rig them like the Hogan/Flair polls.
"A vote for Kaval is five votes for Eli Cottonwood."

Here's the thing about Percy. He's a comedy babyface with charisma galore that can be an Anti-Santino. With the right character development you can do so much more with him based on what I've seen thus far. Plus he can work pretty well so get him to Smackdown after NXT and set him in a tag team with MVP for a month or two. Then you get the MVP heel turn when he gets tired of carrying Percy and putting up with his antics. The fans who like Percy or are starting to like him at the time have more sympathy for him and you are off to the races with a good mid-card feud as opposed to the breakup of Crime Tyme where we never saw them apart and could care less if JTG got punked out.

The only surprise in the poll for me was Husky Harris being next to the bottom. Even if the fan voting is legit, WWE can alter the voting of the "pros" to accomplish almost whatever they want.

If someone gets a lot of internet votes and WWE doesn't like it, they could have each pro vote that person dead last to bring him down a few pegs.

I was more surprised (and thrilled) that Kaval was #1.
I was also more surprised that Husky Harris was next to last.
Then again if fan voting is legit, then it makes sense. Husky Harris really hasn't done anything impressive yet kayfabe-wise.

First off
"Oh yeah~!"
Secondly the guy has the most charisma and is the guy that stands out the most out of all NXT2. him, A-Ri and Kaval are the only 3 non generic guys because they both have their own characters.
If you don't mark for Showtime, you have no soul. baby. OH YEAH~!

The real Percy Watson surprise is that he owned a limo service, NXT 1 used a limo against Bret. The Nexus is complete! I just hope he cut them a nice discount or he could be next.
