You'd think with how much Geoff Johns likes the Blue Beetle, we'd get an animated DVD feature of him.
But, I like this one too.

YEAH! Awesome, this could great if it's just like the comic. If this does well I'd kill to see The Invisibles, Doom Patrol (his version) and The Filth getting adapted as well. I don't care if it's animated or not all three would be awesome in any format, and after Batman: Red Hood I have pretty much huge faith in them so I welcome this. Didn't they also announce they were making Batman: Year One as well? Although I'd rather The Dark Knight Returns, although I doubt that will ever happen.

I have a feeling that Blue Beetle will end up a Showcase short on the of the DVDs like Spectre and Jonah Hex were. The feature films will center on people who will sell copies (probably just Batman and Superman but I hope for another Green Lantern one)

Sweet.
Please give us a Kingdom Come movie in the near future, though.

I kind of doubt it would happen, since most of DC Animted stuff seems to be focused on the main heroes/ It's why they went back to Superman/Batman and canceled stuff like a Wonder Woman sequel and a Batgirl: Year One DVD.

Christina Hendricks as Lois Lane? Yes please. *Friskey Seal of Approval* Seriously though, I think it'll be another winner in their line of DtDVD movies. They all kick ass in one form or another.

Aw, you just made me sad. I loved the Wonder Woman movie.

I too want a Kingdom Come treatment pretty badly.
Just recently got around to buying both volumes of All Star Superman. Great stuff, so I'm excited for this.
A Suicide Squad animated of some kind could be aces.

Batgirl: Year One was done as a motion comic I bought on iTunes a year or 2 ago. Well, they were going to do an animated movie of it, according to Bruce Timm, but that went out, along with a bunch of others after the Green lantern and Wonder Woman movies didn't do so hot. www.comicvine.com/news/dc-animated-projects-canceled/141015/

And Apparently the animated Adaptation of "Judas Contract" has been cancelled.

And Apparently the animated Adaptation of "Judas Contract" has been cancelled. Sad. Face. Actually (and I'm not normally nitpicky like this), I'd have only wanted it if it was going to be in standard, 80s style animation. Wasn't keen on the way Teen Titans was animated. I still pine for the idea of a Great Darkness Saga str8-2-DVD, in any animation style, but they'd have to put Superman in there for it to sell, really. Superboy WAS in the story a lot, though, so not too difficult.

Anyone seen the new one, Superman/Batman Apocalypse?
Fine story, but the guy they have doing Darkseid is so piss poor the film is actually unwatchable imo

I know it's a minor role, but they got a perfect Perry White.

How handy that this thread was sitting here.
Anyone see that Batman Red Hood thing that came out a month or two back? Was it any good?

Yes......yes it is, Black Mask is entertaining, DiMaggio makes a good Joker, NPH is excellent as Robin and I the changes made to adapt it mesh well and don't come off as major ass pulls
