Does anyone else feel the same way? I'm enjoying the product right now more than I have in a long time and I think it's been really strong this year, RAW in particular. There's enough established guys to keep people tuning in but there has also been an influx of new guys that actually seem to have something about them, which wasn't the case before.
They're just hasn't been a lull all year at all. We've had some terrific angles throught the whole year. We started off with Taker/HBK, Cena/Batista and Bret/Vince heading into Mania, as well as something different with a new show in NXT. After Mania, they usually drop off but the Nexus angle stopped that from happening this year and right now, I'm loving the Taker/Kane and Miz/Bryan feuds, as well as the angle they've got going on with Jericho on top of that.
I think the creative team deserve kudos this year. They've proven they can write very good, intelligent (by wrestling's standards) angles angles and ideas, some of which are actually quite original, which is all I ask for when I watch.

The rejig of the Raw main event has been particularly excellent. Also, despite subpar booking, they gave Swagger the ball on Smackdown. And he didn't fumble. So there's hope that they'll continue letting wrestlers like him and Sheamus climb the ladder and cross the line.

yeah totally agree, the usual complaints of the last couple of years just don't apply. From the things that have already been said may I add Randy Orton's face turn, Alberto Del Rio and Kaval to the list of things that have been good this year!

I've started watching again recently and I'm blown away at how much better it's gotten. The new faces and everything is just so great. Smackdown's still great but now look forward to watching Raw more.

I am very satisfied with the WWE product right now. Super Cena is long dead, so many amazing new stars being pushed, and not rushing everything left and right.
Oh yeah and Triple H has been gone for some time.

Barring the Summerslam main event, which I consider the exception that proves the rule, SupermanCena has faded out and become a little more realistic.
MOTHERFUDGING NEXUS!!!!!!!
The Viper is an amazing character for me. I love all of the nuances of Ortons character, its the little things he does.
The guys like Evan Bourne, Daniel Bryan and Kaval showing there is hope for the little guy.
Jericho has been nonstop entertainment, and pulled the line of the year when he slapped Cena, "YOU'RE A STUPID MAN! YOU'RE A STUPID STUPID MAN!"
Beth and McCool having the womens match of the year at Extreme Rules, showing there maybe hope for the womens division, and that hope taking a kick to the crotch along with Beth's knee.
And who can forget Batistas amazing heel run?

All we need is a steady number of crowds with a lot of energy that don't just sit quietly throughout entire matches.

Things WWE did good with this year: *Sheamus' Main Event Run *Nexus *Bringing in DBD and Kaval *The Co-Champions angle *The Miz being awesome *Summerslam Main Event *Kane-Undertaker Angle *NXT *Undertaker/Michaels *Dolph Ziggler: Intercontinental Champion *Hart Dynasty getting a push
Bad Things *WWE Realeases
Yup, it's been good.

aside from NXT there really isn't much to complain about these days That's funny because I enjoy NXT more than anything, but that's probably because I just really enjoy seeing new wrestlers more than anything. I literally can't wait to watch Raw each week these days, which I haven't felt since the late 90's. Most of my interest started the night the Nexus invaded. I can't wait for Smackdown to move to SYFY since I don't get it until Saturday where I live, so everything is spoiled by the time it comes on.

Raw's improved MASSIVELY since around the time Sheamus debuted.
Coincidence?

I agree, WWE is great right now, the best it's been in at least 4 or 5 years.
- No more Batista.
- Triple H is gone for now.
- Nexus
- The pushof younger stars like Bryan, Miz, Evan Bourne, Kofi, Sheamus, Swagger, etc.
- The Straight Edge Society
- Hornswoggle, guest GMs, and stupid comedy bits don't dominate the shows.
- No more show called ECW that isn't ECW.

I've started watching again recently and I'm blown away at how much better it's gotten. The new faces and everything is just so great. Smackdown's still great but now look forward to watching Raw more. Similar to me, I started watching regularly again a couple of months ago after a 3 year break from wrestling, and it really has improved significantly, especially compared to the dark days of 2007 when I last watched. They've got a perfect balance of new talent and the old faces right now, the wrestling itself's always consistently good and the PG rating keeps things from veering into dreaded car-crash TV territory. But yeah, liking WWE a lot nowadays. If they finally fixed the damn tag division and improved the commentary teams it would be near perfect IMO.

I actually feel that I could miss something important if I don't watch Raw and it's been a long time since I felt like that.
It helps that roster feels more entwined now with lots of shifting alliances and rivalries, some guys are even being involved in more than one feud at a time which has been rare in recent times. I think that will be a huge benefit in the months and maybe years to come as they can make storylines more complex by talking about their actions with/against Nexus.
Plus Sheamus has became my favourite wrestler since WM, the guy is gold on the mic.

I think that they have finally made PG WWE work again. The lack of raunch and blood has forced the bookers to pay more attention to storytelling and building actual heat.
The roster is phenomenal right now. There are greenhorns aplenty, and a few guys who have unrealized potential - but there are also some talented veterans of the indy circuit paired up with impressive rookies and established names.
I actually CARE about everyone on Raw now (except Primo - I got back into watching right as he dropped off the face of the planet). Even Khali isn't so bad to watch now - he's being booked to his strengths, and it works.

WWE is just preparing for Shawn Michaels to come back and again ask if anyone was pushed while he was gone.

Ooh, uh, yeah. I'm going to have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you there. If I keep up with the results and I still don't feel persuaded to watch, they're doing something wrong, but that's just me.

If I keep up with the results and I still don't feel persuaded to watch, they're doing something wrong, but that's just me. What exactly does one get from reading a bunch of results? The execution is what makes almost anything in wrestling worth watching.
