I seems to me like Edge is becoming more....fun. Rather than simply being the title obsessed rated R superstar he seems to be incorporating elements of his old attitude era persona (ie with the mocking of Khali and his interaction with Ryder)
Whatever he is doing keep doing it as I'm enjoying it, and he should defiantly have Ryder keep hanging around him as his unappreciated lackey.

I would like if him and Ryder continue to hang around one another.
I don't think he ever entirely scrapped his "Awesomeness" era attitude, with some of his very flimsy excuses to not wrestle at times, but yeah, he's been a little more comedic lately, which is a good thing in his case.

Edge has been really entertaining for the last few weeks. I'm enjoying his current character a lot more than anything he's done in years. Miles better than his face run earlier in the year. Edge needs to be like this too, because his ring work is really not holding up lately. I'm sure he's still exciting in big PPV matches, but he's been very boring and borderline "taking it easy" in his Raw matches.

keep Ryder around him and entertainment will follow. I mean, Edge is pretty great on his own, but the two of them together would be absolutely hilarious.

Maybe Ryder could be to Edge what Al Snow was to Mick Foley

Another vote for Ryder becoming Edge's sidekick Judging by last night they have great chemistry together.

On the Ryder-as-Edge's-sidekick bandwagon here. Their segment last night had me in stitches. I mean, both are pretty funny on their own, but they were great last on.
"Dude, did you just call me a tool?"
"...Yeah."
"That really hurt my feelings, bro."

I'll admit I enjoyed Edge on RAW this week more than I have for a long time, a couple of times during the main event he had me cracking up on commentary.

But Ryder has already been Edge's under appreciated lackey!
Not that I wouldn't mind it happening again now of course, but just saying.

It is the character he had at the beginning of the year. Edge has always had hints of humor in his character. Edge and jericho can switch heel/face and people will not notice.

I genuinely think it's the fact WWE don't know what to do with him. They tried face and the fans rejected him. They tried heel and it only led to Edge being lost in the shuffle.
Maybe Tweener is the best place for him to be?

Agreed, Edge was golden in all his segments last night. What with the staleness of the Rated R gimmick right now, you forget what a funny guy he can still be when he gets the opportunity.
Honestly they should just take him out of the title scene for a while and give the character room to breathe in less serious angles. Don't just stick the guy against Orton and Cena just because you can. Do something fresh abd different with the character. Remind the fans why they fell in love with him in the first place, then move him back to the main event when it's less cluttered.

I approve Ryder becoming his lackey again as well.

Edge is really, really great at mocking people. Since he's gotten hurt so much he can't really bust his ass in the ring so much, he needs to accentuate that side of his persona again.
I marked for his channeling of Scott Hall's mocking of "that big franken-goof" The Giant.
