Is X-Treme X-Men worth reading or should I stay away?

What's different with Juggy now? I dunno. I can't really articulate what seems off about him, but he just looks odd to me somehow.

So, I just finished those two issues of Thunderbolts. And... eh. Songbird's new haircut looks ridiculous. Reminds me of Darren Young. And Juggernaut looks odd, too. Still, I liked the bit with US Agent, though. I've been digging on Thunderbolts for the past couple months. It's not my favorite regular series that I buy(that would be Secret Six over in DC), but I think it's damn good for two issues in on a new team. I'm just not looking forward to the inevitable "Moonstone tries to seduce Luke Cage" storyline that's clearly coming. remember when Moonstone could manipulate people without spreading her legs?

So, I just stumbled across something that I think people might get a kick out of. Especially Legion, since it involves Thanos Imperative. Two words... {Spoiler} COSMIC AVENGERS.

Sausage Avengers is more like it. between that and Bendis' current Avengers book it's like Marvel wants to pretend no female heroes are important. eh, if DnA write the book I'm sure it'll be awesome, regardless of its lack of vaginas.

The rest of the team is alright, too, save for Gladiator; wish it had more classic cosmic Avengers, though.

I thought the one on the far right was Darkseid for a second Glad I wasn't the only one. I'm honestly not sure who all of that team is, though. (I don't follow Cosmic Marvel outside of whenever an X-Title heads up there.) Not sure who's there besides Beta Ray Bill, Surfer, and Gladiator.

Quasar, from the Avengers, and Nova, from the New Warriors, are in there. Not sure who the last one is, though; my first guess would be Ronan, since it seems he's become heroish since last I was into comics and I'm sure his appearance has changed in recent years, but I'm not sure.

I can't remember if I asked about any of these on here or not, but I recently read through:
Spider-Man: Reign Superman: Godfall House of M: Spider-Man
I was just wondering what the general consensus was about these. I thought they were all pretty f***ing great, personally. I love alternate reality stories, so these were all right up my alley.

Yeah, thought that was Nova.
And yeah, pretty sure that's Ronan.

Awesome picture! To answer some questions, left to right: Quasar - Original version, but potentially not really alive. Got a feeling he may be important because of that. Beta Ray Bill - Be interesting to see what he makes of Galactus and the Surfer being involved, as the last time they met, he wasn't exactly their friend. Gladiator of the Imperial Guard - Actually acting regent of the Shiar, who are themselves now a vassal of the Inhuman Kree empire. Nova - The guy who has IS current cosmic Marvel. Poorly treated as an idiot in Secret Avengers in my opinion, is essentially leading things from the front line. Silver Surfer - Surfer has had an increase in power, but has had his personality locked away again. Current Herald to Galactus. Ronan the Accuser - Former head of the Kree Empire, he gave power over to Blackbolt (who then died fighting Vulcan and created the Rift to the Cancerverse in the first place). Medusa now rules the Kree and Ronan is engaged to Crystal. If this lot get a team book to replace Guardian of the Galaxy as Cosmic Avengers..........I'll live with it. Needs more Starlord though. And Gamora. It's a sausage-fest in there.

Regarding the Cosmic/Galactic Avengers.........I just hope the X-Jammers are involved in it somewhere.
Havok finally had a change to shine......and then Vulcan has to die because they decide to bring Thanos back.

Havoc will show up somewhere soon, he's in First Class, so I expect him and Lorna to show.

So, Vengeance of The Moon Knight writer Gregg Hurwitz is gonna be at Challenger's Comics in Chicago this Tuesday for a Q&A and a signing. Any Chicago area crappers gonna show for it, or will I be the only one?
