Al Murray Pub Landlord. f*** off you racist tit. From Stewart Lee "I wouldn't want racists laughing at my jokes because that's Al Murray's audience. Missing the point and laughing through bared teeth like the dogs they are" Although, Lee is a fan of Al's. Just not his audience.

Yeah, it's always the problem when you satirise people like that, they actually like it because they don't get it. Like All in the Family/Till Death us Do Part. About the difference between American and British comedy, Jim Gaffigan, who I like a lot, said in an interview he was amazed British comics produce a new routine every year instead of re-using what they already have as long as possible.

Ricky Gervais by far,iv never enjoyed any of his work in comedy shows like Extras and the Office.Strange thing is i actually liked his comedy routine in Grand theft auto 4 in the club but apart from that..i really just find him painfully unfunny.

Kevin James tries WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard all the time, mugs for the camera and just is extremely unfunny.
Al Murray is very funny, but I agree a lot of his fans miss the joke.
It's like chavs going to Goldie Lookin' Chain gigs.

Used to love Al Murray, but only when he was playing Harry Hill's big brother, Alan Hill.

I read through this just to see how often Dane Cook got mentioned. I'll also add Sarah Silverman (who seems to confuse being obnoxious with being funny) and Carlos Mencia (whose just plain racist).

I wonder how many of the people that said Dane Cook legitimately never found him funny, or are just caught up in the backlash following his immense popularity.
Any redneck comedian, any female stand-up comedian, most black comedians. Any comedian that relies mostly on race or shock humor. Carrot Top. (runs and hides from Carrrot Top's scary arms)

Ellen Degeneres. As Dori in Finding Nemo, she was fantastic. As a judge on American Idol, she actually wasn't bad. But as a standup comedian, it's like staring at a blank wall.
Or Sarah Silvernman. Sure, she's cute, but I never can figure out what's so funny about her. Her show was just......stupid.

I hate Larry the Cable Guy with a passion. The man is a detriment to southern people everywhere, except the white trash that heralds this man with Git-R-Dun stickers on their vehicles. He's from Nebraska, completely fakes his accent, and unbeknownst to most of them, mocks Southern people with his character. To top it all off, the guy seems to find handicaps hilarious. When I say this, I mean he doesn't make a joke about a famous person's particular handicap so that you can say, "Oh well they put themselves in the spotlight." Instead, he makes general jokes about people being deaf and all types of birth defects. I know some of you might think I have thin skin on this one, but there are much funnier things to satirize that people have control over. THANK YOU. I also understand what people have said about Carlin. The guy had some stuff that I found funny. But I don't listen to comedians for political commentary, regardless of which side they fall on. I listen to comedians to get away from that kind of shit. Then, as pointed out, in later years, the profanity really seemed to get to a ridiculous level.

See, there are some comedians who should be comedy actors. Take Kevin James. The man is not funny by himself, but give him a great line to work with and he's hilarious.

The man who has a vendetta against the very nature of joy itself... He's good when he's, well, good. The problem is, like many actors, you don't know which version of him you're getting with each film. If he always turned in "Heartbreak Kid" caliber work, he'd be effectively blacklisted. However, though, some stuff, he's excellent.

Any of the Blue Collar guys (except for Ron White, he's the best of the bunch BY FAR and gets the least amount of love)
Any of the people who do Comedy Central Roasts. The only time I legitimately laughed out loud at one of them was when Norm MacDonald did Bob Saget's roast.
Jay Leno and David Letterman have never really done anything for me, but I'll admit that I at least get a chuckle in every now and then if Letterman happens to be on. I have always preferred the 12:30 guys (Conan and Ferguson are my favorites) Kimmell and Lopez are all right, and Fallon is the drizzling, giggling shits.

I think it's unfair to call them not funny. If they can make a crowd of people laugh at a show, then they're funny to someone. :-\

Quick thoughts on Blue Collar:
Jeff and Bill, first of all, are really nice guys in real life. I got to meet them both, and Bill was so quiet and unassuming (and under a hat), when they brought him in to sign autographs, the guy running the show had to tell us it was him.
Jeff: Was funny when he started out, but he's still doing the same bit. Even with the Sophisticated vs Redneck version, it's still the same thing
Bill: Still funny, IMO, and I love that he isn't the same jokes all the time. I think he realizes that people want more than just "Here's Your Sign" from him these days, and he's adapted from the catchphrase pretty well.
Larry: I'll give him credit for taking his hillbilly character and creating a rallying cry for the southern masses (not to mention here in the South of the North, as it was put to me one time by a local wrestler), but he just isn't all that funny.
Ron: Ron's funny the first time you hear him, but I feel like I've seen everything he has to offer now. I wasn't a fan of his live, however, because he eventually got to a point where he was cursing for the sake of cursing.
One no one's mentioned yet is Jay Leno. He'll get the occasional chuckle from me, but for the most part I don't find anything fresh about his humor at all.
EDIT: Okay, one guy beat me to it
