Hey all I know it's very subjective and depends on one's own opinion, but...I think there are some comedians out there who are just so unfunny that it baffles the mind as to how/why they are famous. Some examples to me are: 1) Katt Williams I really really REALLY do not understand why anyone would think this guy is funny. He falls back on the usual crutch of racial jokes, and the fact that he tells his unfunny jokes in the most nasal, annoying voice ever just makes it all worse. I don't get it at ALL. 2) Kevin James I just don't find him funny. *shrugs* Either his stand up, or his TV show. He just doesn't appeal to me. 3) Dave Attel 4) Anyone who's hosted The Man Show 5) Ralphie May OK, a white comedian who's overweight, and talks like he's black. Oookay. There are others, but those are the main ones I don't understand. And I just wanna take a quick second to mention a comedian I find vastly underrated who is one of the funniest people ever on the planet.... Dana Gould. The man is gut-bustingly hilarious. Anyhow. - Matty

Dane. f***ing. Cook.
Also, I agree mostly on Katt Williams. I love him as A Pimp Named Slickback, though. Everything out of his mouth in that role is pure comedic gold.

Katt and May don't do much for me. Don't recall ever watching Kevin James' standup, so I couldn't really tell you. I do like Dave Attell, but I can see he's not everyone's thing.

Dane Cook again. I think Katt Williams is hilarious in character and appearance, but it's all ruined once he opens his mouth.

For me it begins and ends with Bob Saget. With most comedians I can at least understand their appeal, even if I don't personally think they're funny. But Saget is just so awful that I honestly don't understand why he even has a career.

Jeff Dunham. The man just isn't funny at all. If other people like him, fine, but he's just not even close to funny for me. He's a talented ventriloquist, but that's it.

I usually find Dane Cook damn hilarious, save for Isolated Incident, that IMO sucked.
One comedian that's not funny to me? Lisa Lampanelli. I've never found this bitch funny, not once and I've tried more than once. If it's one mainstream comic I can't understand the hype about, it's her.
Also throw me in Bob Saget as well. I can't take the guy who was Danny f***ing Tanner as edgy and dark, I just can't.

Only problem is, if you've seen just ONE Comedy Central Roast that she's in, you've pretty much seen all of her material.

Kevin James' stand up isn't bad. Granted, I've only seen one 5 minute set from Just for Laughs.
Since, Doug Stanhope hosted the Man Show, huge disagreement there. Stanhope is the man.
The rest in the OP, haven't heard that I know of, well, enough to make an informed decision. What I saw of Katt Williams wasn't funny.

Everybody on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with the exception of Ron White. It boggles my mind that Ron White is probably the least popular out of that group when he's the only standout in my opinion.

Very dated material, very cliche. Walter is about the only part of his act that is any good, and even that isn't particularly revolutionary.

Dana Carvey was hilarious on Saturday Night Live but his stand up was horrible. I can't think of any SNL cast members who were great at stand up.

I don't think Jonah Hill is actually a comedian. He's an actor/writer who's filmography is mostly comedies....i don't think he ever had a stage act or anything.

Chris Rock: The man isn't funny, he's never been funny, and he never will be funny.
Steve Colbert: He wasn't too bad on Who's Line is it Anyway...even though everyone else was about 6 times quicker and funnier than him, but all his other stuff is just shit. He loves hiding behind the "it's political humor, so you must not be smart enough to get it" banner, and with the internet having such a boner over the guy just makes me hate him that much more.
Jon Stewart: Has much the same crap as Colbert. While Colbert at least does have a small bit of charm to him sometimes, Stewart doesn't even have that. He's an obnoxious know-it-all douche bag twit who isn't as funny, smart, or worldly as he thinks he is. At least he isn't appearing in f***ing Spiderman comics thought.
Jerry Seinfeld: I think I might have smiled once at his stand up routine, and I never cracked at all during his show. I don't get his appeal...and "What's the deal............WITH THAT???"
