I'm surprised, Wrestlecrap Forums.
I'm not even watching it, I changed the channel after it came on because it's still so damned depressing.
Anyway, so as not to make this an utterly pointless topic, or one that infuriates everyone because of all the posting about Jurassic Bark...how's the newest season of Futurama?
I haven't really caught any episodes of it, so I dunno. I've heard mixed things, so what's everyone's view on it?

^Well I'm in the UK, I guess this is a re-run in America? Well anyway it made me cry with the song at the end because it reminded me of stuff so it certainly has it's emotional effect, even on people who don't like Futurama, even though I love Futurama.

Love it!
Also love seeing this thread topic, haha!
Love the new season as well!
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face ... and then I watch and the smile is erased.

It's on like every 3 days. You would think so, yeah. I was honestly shocked there wasn't a thread.

It's weird...this episode used to really tug at my heartstrings. Now? Not so much. I feel like I've almost become desensitized to it.
"Time Keeps On Slippin'"? Now that's just heartbreaking.

It's lost some of its luster for me over the years.
"The Why Of Fry" usually has had the most emotional impact on me, even though the ending's happier.

I always thought "Luck of the Fryish" was better than "Jurassic Bark".
However, regarding the new season of Futurama. It's Futurama. If you liked the previous seasons, I think you'll like this one as well.

You make it sound like it's that episode of the Fresh Prince.

It's become a bit desensitized since Adult Swim showed it about 334,237 times.
As for the new season, it's like when they brought back Family Guy, something's missing. Though it's certainly not "new Family Guy" bad, very few shows are.

And yeah, the new season is pretty darn good, at least as good as previous seasons if you liked them.

I live in Canada, where we haven't got the new season yet. As for Jurassic Bark, it became less sad for me after seeing Bender's Big Score.

I think the new season is kind of lackluster. There have been some really awesome parts but overall, episodes have just been okay.

I actually seen this episode was on TV the other week, and skipped over it. When my friend asked why, I told him I didn't feel like crying that night.
I think the main reason it always gets me, besides being a well told story, is that a few years ago I had to give up my dog to the Humane League, as we couldn't get him house trained. He came from an abusive home, and was scared out of his skin when we originally got him. He warmed up to us quickly, and was always sweet with others, if not scared first. Problem was we could never get him house trained. Since he was already a few years old and was never trained, it was hard to get him to learn. After having to replace the carpets due to stains, we had to give him up. It was already hard to do, but seeing him look at us with the saddest look you could ever imagine was truly heartbreaking.
Though this episode doesn't follow the same story, it does relate to an owner and his dog being separated. Every time I watch it, it makes me think of Charlie, and how he may have reacted the same way until he found a new home (which, thankfully, was very quickly, as we were told).
P.S. For those wondering, we have gotten a new dog since named Casper, who came from a farm and was already being trained. It wasn't hard for us to teach him, and he's only had two or three accidents since we've had him for the past two years, both of which were our faults.
