After watching ECW last night, a thought dawned on me. I think Justin Credible might have an angle.
He looks like a jobber, and has been called one repeatally since he was squashed by Angle. However, he is actually on a winning streak defeating both Sabu and Balls Mahoney.
Now these wins are by DQ, which I think is the point. Why? Because it is Justin who brings the weapons into play. During the Sabu match, it was Justin who pulled a table out from the ring. Last night, Justin brought in the chair that Balls used.
Could this all be an idea for Credible to "rely" on his fellow "ECW Originals" to still have their hardcore instinct, so that he can build up a win streak in order to demand a title shot? Or am I over analyzing things again?
It could provide a nice "Throwaway Title Match" where Credible gets an "Extreme match" and some offense, but ultimately falls short against Show. Not a total squash, but some back and forth action ending with angry Big Show Chokeslam and Cobra Clutch.

you're probably over-analyzing, but it would be pretty cool. Justin's a good worker who doesn't get enough credit IMO and deserves a lot better than being a jobber.

It sounds smart. Smart like Paul Heyman.

I had an idea for Credible (part of which I posted in another thread):
If they really wanted to get Justin Credible over as a heel they could have him give Angle a "That's Incredible" on a steel chair right after he returns. Angle would be out for three more weeks (making the fans REALLY hate Credible) due to his neck being hurt. Credible's reason for doing this is because Angle embarassed him on the first show. This would go over very well at the Ballroom and it would give Angle even more time-off to heal. Plus, you have a ready made feud for him when he returns.
When Angle returns after Credible took him out, the two would have a match. This would end in a DQ when CW Anderson does a run-in and attacks Angle (along with Credible). The two reveal in a post-match interview that they're the NEW Impact Players. The next week, a tag match is made, the Impact Players vs. Angle and a mystery partner. The Partner turns out to be The Sandman, yet this team loses when Francine debuts, distracting Sandman and allowing Credible to pin him. Francine cements her alliance with former charge Credible and becomes the valet of the Impact Players. The next week Angle faces CW Anderson, with the stipulation being that if he wins he gets Credible in an Extreme Rules match next week--he wins. The end of the angle happens as Credible faces Angle--and loses--in a competitive, 13 minute match (time is a factor here). Francine and Anderson will be banned from ring-side and both competitors will blade.
This angle accomplishes several things: It debuts two people (Francine and Anderson), introduces a new team (The Impact Players), makes both Credible and Angle look strong, and gives all of them something to do for a few weeks. From here, Angle would move to the main event scene while the Impact Players would dominate the tag ranks.

Remember Credible is a rumored clique member Yep. But even that didn't save him from the Aldo Montoya gimmick.

Wow, a lot of positive reactions.
That deserves a "Groovy."
I liked the idea about creating the Impact Players, too. I have been waiting for CW Anderson since day one.

I think he'd mesh really well with Credible, though. It could work I think. However, I see Anderson most likely being fodder for the debuting CM Punk. Although, establishing him on TV before something like the Impact Players is good, unless the match with Punk is a squash. To expand on my original post. It kind of makes sense for Justin to go on this route. He is a heel, and it doesn't matter HOW he wins, just the fact that he does. If Justin Credible wins by DQ one more time, I think my hypothesis might a chance. Just wait for him to "accidentally" drop the ring bell at Amish Roadkill's feet.
