So I was just looking up some stuff on Charles Fleischer randomly and a link to HBO.com popped up. I don't know if this has been on and I just haven't noticed but apparently they're re-running a bunch of the old HBO One Night Stand specials from the late 80s/early 90s. Some real classic stuff.
we've got Bobby Slayton, Rita Rudner, Robin Harris, Blake Clark, Joy Behar, Mario Joyner, Dana Gould, Ellen Degeneres, the list goes on and on. I'm gonna try to catch as many of these as possible and figured I'd pass the news along to anyone else out there who is a fan of stand up comedy.
*Edit*
And now I'm bummed because out of all the HBO channels I have, I don't get HBO Comedy. Frick.

Oh yea, HBO was a great channel for standup of both new and established acts. George Carlin was tradition. I saw Richard Pryor's last two stand up specials on HBO.
As for the ONS, wow, Louie Anderson, Jake Johansen, Kevin Meaney,
Comedy was so great in the 80's. I don't know what the f*** people like these days.
