Who will be the first Homegrown TNA talent to make an impact in WWE? Sabu doesn't count because he's more ECW original and Kid Kash hasn't made an impact. My pick is Monty Brown with his contract expiring this fall and the WWE's love for guys his size he could be a nice addition to the WWE roster especially with the loss of talent recently. Thoughts, jokes , recipes?

Mayhaps, even though he's a crossbreed of Kane and Mankind with a managerial gimmick stolen by Umaga.

By the time guys get to TNA they have considerable indy experience--ROH, Japan, etc. So it would be hard to point to any as "homegrown" when TNA basically is a TV studio in Orlando that tapes twice a month. If Joe ever goes to WWE, TNA will have been the fed that introduced him to a national audience.

Monty Brown and Abyss would be the best fits. Monty would get over as a heel on Smackdown, and Abyss would be a perfect monster for ECW. In fact, I've imagined the perfect video package for Monty Brown. (Cut to a serene jungle setting.) Brown voiceover: I am a hunter... (A blur streaks by the camera.) Brown: I am a prowler... (The blur streaks by again.) Brown: I am a predator... (Whoosh.) Brown: And I'm ready to POOOOOOOUUUUUUNNNNCCCEE!!!!!!! (Brown leaps out of the foliage at the camera.) Brown voiceover: Welcome to the Serengeti! The following would be in leopard-print type: WELCOME TO THE SERENGETI
MONTY BROWN
COMING TO SMACKDOWN

Kid Kash is a TNA homegrown wrestler? Uh.. ECW? He was in ECW in their dying days and wasn't really a major player like Sabu.

Monty Brown would be cool
that;s about it.
If they put Abyss in ECW, i'd have no problem with him filling out the Cactus Jack stuntman role

although it would be cool to see petey williams or chris sabin in WWE I would really worry about their size--they can look small even next to other cruisers.

I think Monty Brown would do very well, he can talk, he obviously doesn't have problems with the dress code and he's a big guy to boot.

I agree that Brown would be good in WWE. He's obviously got the look and the size and the type of wrestling style that WWE likes. I'm not sure how well the pounce would work in the bigger, four sided WWE ring, though. He'd probably have to start using that as a set up move for some type of slam or powerbomb. Also, if he does go to WWE, expect them to play up his football experience big time, and pretend that he's never been in another fed (as they ignore the existence of TNA, and I'm not saying that's a bad strategy at this point)
Abyss would do okay in WWECW in hardcore type matches. He would no longer get to play the monster role, as he would look alot less imposing next to the generally larger WWE guys.
Other than that...I really cant think of anyone. Killings already was in the E, and it didn't work out. Any X division guy would be buried. Joe would be given a retarded sterotypical Samoan gimmick or a comedy role.
All this being said, as interesting as it would be to see Monty Brown in WWE, I want TNA to keep all their guys.

When you're talking about "TNA homegrown talent", there's nobody besides Monty and Abyss.

The reason Monty would be a good candidate is because he's grown a bit stale in TNA. His heel turn hurt his momentum badly, and he's not as interesting as he used to be.

If Joe ever goes to WWE, TNA will have been the fed that introduced him to a national audience. Just because Dixie Carter didn't squeeze a guy out of her womb doesn't mean that a TNA guy isn't a homegrown talent. The experience and exposure a wrestler gains in ROH, the indies, or Japan (while valuable) doesn't make them a star. The thing I'm talking about when I say homegrown is they got there first AMERICAN national exposure in this company. Anyone who wasn't a known face in WWE, ECW, or WCW would count for the purposes of this discussion. Heck even Killings would apply since nobody remembers K-Kwik, nor do they want to. ;D
